a beautiful bounty in an annoying bone container blogroll about parhelion ask things submit a post rss archive a beautiful bounty in an annoying bone container i plucked these views from the slurry of moral relativism and i m quite fond of them 5 years ago 45 notes blog meta pinned post hwæt i m alexi she they beyond that i don t like centralizing my character sheet i m making a webnovel mission critical about 24th century space exploration and lunar sociology and the weird mixed feelings of being from what was once north korea and sending out messages that can never be responded to and corporate mascots uplifted to sapience and interplanetary wire fraud and amazing human progress with plenty of petty dysfunction around the edges beyond that my ao3 account also hosts a bunch of shorter stories in various stages of completion i have a semi outdated art portfolio on carbonmade although i m not open for commissions right now from 2016 to 2019 i made a webcomic parhelion it ended prematurely since it no longer worked with my life s schedule but it has a lot that i m proud of and is a neat fossil record of my artistic growth from 2019 to 2020 i made a worldbuilding blog the solar symposium which i hope to return to someday or at least expand its ideas into bigger stories mission critical is a distinct setting from the other two which blur into each other a fair degree but there are plenty of common themes and a fair number of easter egg references among everything i make i also have a few things up on itch io and i m on mastodon here here and here 2 days ago 38 086 notes rigatonidanza it took two whole days but it s done the concept is simple ai generated art sent to a company who does paint by number kits and then completed by an amateur it s an interesting thought experiment at what point is it truly art is it ever art because it s ai generated is it ever art because it s paint by numbers is it always art because it elicits a response from the viewer via fipindustries 3 days ago 817 notes beautiful artbyblastweave i ve seen a whole range of reactions to the announcement of the worm comic some optimistic some worried it s all over the place i get it but here s something i need you to understand and cherish about what s going to happen when this comic comes out what s going to happen is someone is going to stumble across this comic who s never heard of worm before right and they ll pick it up and they ll read it and as so often happens when one picks up an indie comic or other under the radar piece of serialized media they will be compelled right by some pairing or another one of the many ludicrously turbofucked interpersonal dynamics on offer and they will go to ao3 assuming it s back by then and what they will be expecting right what they will have been conditioned to expect by years of investigating the fandoms for lower profile works is maybe 300 fics total with maybe three involving their pairing that would be generous for a newer indie comic but instead via badeliz 3 days ago 240 notes no sharks on the sun apricops one of my favorite things about the original slay the spire is how neatly the ironclad silent and defect fill out the game together they re primary colors red green and blue ironclad is all about attacks silent is all about skills and defect is all about powers ironclad has the best act 1 lots of big number damage cards to burst enemies down and the worst act 3 those big numbers really get outpaced by enemy scaling the silent has the best act 2 access to the best defensive cards right when a lot of enemies come out the gate swinging but the worst act 1 starting deck just straight up dies to every act 1 elite defect has the best act 3 half of your powers are designed to scale forever and the worst act 2 you can t burst down enemies but you also don t have all your combo pieces yet and again act 2 enemies hit hard and also the watcher is there nods also the watcher is there via lumsel 3 days ago 19 notes toolusingmammalgirl i love how the school board presidential race is such a shitshow that people are seriously pitching themselves as write in candidates but honestly in the past few years i ve really come to value a politician s ability to graciously take an l in an election several races have libertarian candidates but no republicans god bless chicago 3 days ago 19 a selfie but it didn t really come through so i had to salvage things by hitting this totally natural pose instead bumping this 2 main why not 5 days ago 6 395 notes hell yeah excited for the movie about this in two to three decades trangoldin via badeliz 6 days ago 4 409 notes good enhaloed halation alt watched you can see everything the other day via doubleca5t 1 week ago 5 758 notes good hexbugswallower comic about the dangers of substance abuse via lumsel 1 week ago 7 notes verbal brain noise while my guitar gently wheeks 2 weeks ago 32 notes in the future it will be a bar quiz level piece of trivia that nobody in morbius ever actually says it s morbin time like how the exact words beam me up scotty or elementary my dear watson never show up in their source material either 2 weeks ago 18 889 notes classic artbyblastweave my father s funeral was yesterday there are a lot of ways that i could attempt to eulogize him but for the sake of expediency i m going to go with an incident towards the tail end of the obama administration where i was sitting in the living room reading and he charges in in a big huff says look at what he sent me can you believe this guy and hands me this via artbyblastweave 2 weeks ago 4 605 notes the wolf emoji begin pgp private key block this many ️ ️ end pgp private key block via badeliz 2 weeks ago 2 665 notes yeah yeah wild how there are cities that exist because humans are bad at probability cryptotheism i ve gotten maybe 8 hours of sleep over the previous four days i m currently sitting at my gate in the las vegas air port for a connection this is an evil place i am already hungry and sleep deprived and the slot machines are louder than the gate change announcements there are three train themed machines each playing train chugging noises out of sync with each other while some kind of goblin themed machine which i cannot see keeps saying in a high scratchy voice yes yesss more shiny coins i feel like i mario 64 jumped inside a predatory phone game where a lecherous cartoon wolf is offering me beer and poker chips this whole location is trying to touch me inappropriately 2 weeks ago 6 238 notes cryptotheism new video
