any other random user what you are essentially asking is for us to affirm that a small group of people wp owns the project and that nobody else is allowed to weigh in or that their views should be discounted that sort of factionalism is utterly counter to how we work if you want to write a personal essay expressing your personal views do it in userspace if you write something in project space everyone gets to weigh in equally and no one has more voice there than anyone else the idea that there is a formal group of members of the project who get to control it is completely incorrect membership is informal and conveys no particular degree of control or influence over the project or its subpages again it feels like you are trying to turn wikiprojects into political parties do not do this i would strenuously advise you to discard that entire line of argument and anything based on it since it feels like a wp battleground approach to wikiprojects a wikiproject is a place for express their group s views according to you they must speak only as individuals or not at all they cannot unite together to express their collective views they must remain separate i don t think this is a good idea there are quite a lot of pages in the project namespace that i don t think everyone should weigh in equally on for example i think that most of the wikipedia open letters and petitions
