popular voices that we all know who actually believe they can redeem demons by their declarations i get it wouldn t it be nice if there were no consequence for our sin yippeee let s all vote for that it appeals to our fallenness it lets us off the hook it falsely salves our conscience it falsely takes away guilt and remorse and the righteous fear of the lord and so many other core aspects of our relationship with god it says love doesn t require anything which in the end only cheapens and destroys love just try that last sentence in your marriage and see how that works out we see this in our secular world a woke world wants everybody to win everybody s got to win there can t be any losers in a woke world everyone gets a gold star beside their name sadly too many good people are all too eager to adopt a worldly system friends we must not let the world guide us we must anchor upon the word of god righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne love and faithfulness go love is not restricted to only giving fair and equal treatment to all the bible has far too many incidents where god s actions and god s graces were very different between individuals salvation is freely available to all but the graces beyond that are not cookie cutter equal we must get over our petty fragility we must trust in god s wisdom and love that transcends the fairness doctrines of what kind of love would it be if your spouse didn t have a choice in the matter of loving you or giving you love what if your spouse was forced to love you think of it how special would that love make in the supreme wisdom of god he gave an upside and a downside to this free will you are free to 1 love voluntarily which makes love meaningful and rewarding and you are also free to 2 walk away which
