d think maybe random mutation of the worker cell genomes would probably be a lot more frequent especially during the rapid proliferation that occurs i think it was mentioned that eridians also don t have robust dna repair mechanisms because they didn t have to evolve any due to the thick atmosphere shielding them from pretty much any level of radiation so maybe that could come into play i might do a bit of a molecular population genetics follow up if i find the strength to do so lmao horizontal gene transfer within worker cell types could also be interesting i think ramqiu dont even worry
