update for my bucket list from last week here is also a link for my bucket list for 2013 if you haven t had a look my promise to live life my bucketlist 2013 a little bit different and also another post about the fears i have in my life with a reflection of other reader s experiences along with it my fears item number 18 sing karaoke it was a friday evening and i had booked for karaoke for five people with some food included but unfortunately as it was very close to christmas hence i couldn t get many people to join but only one of my very good friend she was a true friend i must say as she knew we both are terrible at singing but it was on my bucket list of this year to do karaoke and she agreed to do it irrespective of anyone else joining it was fun to have our own booth and we sang shouted talked ate and posed for pictures that was so much fun i must say it was like having your own space to do whatever you like and we definitely went a little bit crazy in there and yes there was no alcohol involved surprisingly as we both are not big fan of drinking at this time we sang few numbers from jenifer lopez and some other female and yes we sang beautiful from akon too considering how much i am listening to him these days it was fun after all and although it is not my favourite thing to do on earth but with a bunch of other people i would not mind doing it again and with that another item on my bucket list is complete yay not every item on my bucket list is done but i am really proud to say that after starting on this journey from june 2013 and with almost 7 months i have come a long way overcoming a lot of my fears and enjoying every bit of it and i wish to have another wonderful year with you all like this in my life rate this share this print opens in new window bucket list bucket list bucketlist fears karaoke sing 18 dec 13 2013 hiking weekend bucket list 2013 hike to the cradle mountain and experience being a tour guide for few hours along with visiting the place called bay of fire hllo my lovely fellow bloggers and friends a smile and hug from sydney i am back to share some stories and experience with you including my bucketlist adventure here is a link experiences along with it my fears item number 38 vsit one of these cradle mountain wineglass bay bay of fires in launceston tasmania one of the must do when you are in tasmania is to walk up to the summit of cradle mountain after visiting the beautiful blue dove lake it was on my bucket list and i am really glad to tell you that i did experience this when i was in tasmania it was a short trip and i was determined to see few places when i was in launceston tasmania hence i booked a tour as i don t drive and it became another memorable tour of my life really it was windy and cold when we got there but i was lucky to have a really good weather when we reached to the marion s lookout there is a very famous overland track that starts from there and we met a lot of hikers doing that six days track as well with big backpacks i might like to do it one day if i stay in australia for long i think but anyways it was a steep climb at few places but there were chains that you can hold on to while climbing for assistance so i think most of the people with average fitness can do this walk and at least going to the marion s lookout is definitely worth doing as you would be rewarded with beautiful views of the valley as well as many lakes that are visible from the summit on the way back the tour guide asked us to take another route and he suggested that he would dive the van to the other location for us somehow others managed to make me a temporary tour guide after seeing my skills in bush walking which took me by surprise but i loved the job for next one hour or so and made sure everyone is happy and safe on the way back but it was really nice to meet so many new people on this walk i did have some funny tour guide moments when i thought a waterfall that our tour guide was talking is nearby and i literally told everyone that the stream of water was the so called waterfall whereas in another few minutes we were able to spot the actual one a bit cheeky of me i know and everyone had a good laugh at that and then we met our tour guide on the suggested location after a nice hike and a good workout also i had a chance to go to the beautiful place called bay of fire a beach in tasmania this should be another must do thing when you are in tasmania i am sharing the pictures of this place as well although it was cold and i end up lying in the beach with my jacket and jeans on but i loved it whatsoever i love tasmania so much that i would go there any time i get a chance in future its not just the place but people there are also so lovely and warm also as the space here in wordpress is filling fast hence i upload more pics on the facebook page as of now till i get a proper website up and running for my blog so kindly join me on facebook to see more list 2013 caving plughole adventure in jenolan caves hello my fellow bloggers i am trying to do things in my bucket list as you know and my apology not to be regular with writing due to being involved in a few things in my list that are taking a lot of my time and also i am trying to fit some travelling into it here is a link for my bucket list if you haven t read it yet and i have brought some exciting new adventures that i have been involved recently my promise to live life my bucketlist 2013 a little bit different and another post about the fears i have in my life with a reflection of other reader s experiences along with it my fears item 6 try caving jenolan caves in sydney i was a bit nervous and could feel butterflies in my stomach that day my friend gave me some confidence by saying that i would be alright but i think waiting for something like this was making me utterly nervous and also i had discussed this with my other girl friends and they were not quiet sure how strenuous it might be actually so my latest adventure was caving i recently did plughole adventure caving in jenolan caves one of the oldest caves in the world and one of the most amazing place in new south wales that also had got bulb installed in the area for the first time it was a warm and sunny day but still i packed my backpack with warm clothes thinking that it might be very cold inside the cave and i was a bit worried about getting injured there due to all the crawling and sliding as this was the first time i was trying this activity hence i seemed to be quiet naive obviously and when i realized it involved some abseiling as well that i haven t done before then my heartbeat was over the roof but soon the abseiling part was done surprisingly and guess what i did pretty ok actually i am going for canyoning soon and this was a good practice i must say so here we were at our first hole in the cave that looked very small but surprisingly after following the instruction from the guides we were able to pass that easily by crawling squeezing and sliding next part was easy and touristic as we just walked few meters to get to the root of a very old tree that was there for couple of hundred years its amazing to see the underground part of the nature as well at times and next was the rocks where we saw the signatures of all the people who had been there including a lady in early 1800 we did get to hear a number of stories about people who had been here and explored the various routes in the cave it was only later when we got a chance to switch off our torch and experienced pitch black darkness it was overall a refreshing and self awareness activity i felt after having finished it successfully and also sometimes we don t realize how much potential we have got and we are capable of doing lot more than we actually think we can do that s what i find out when i overcome my fears and try to do something new rate this share this print opens in new window print from a stranger who saved my life as i almost died that night hi all i was going through my stuff and found this letter from a stranger who became an angel and a friend later it was the time when i was going through a very rough stage in my life when i look back now it feels like eternity and i can t believe that i was so upset in my life at that point due to the people whom i loved and cherished once and who hurt me the most in my life i might not have shared this a year ago but now that i am out of that situation and have become a much stronger and happier person in life then i would like to share this letter that i recieved from a person who saved my life and stood by me that night it was christmas party that i wanted to go to make sure i get a bit of a change from my current life s problems and get my mind away from the problems it was the fear of my ex that took over after few drinks and i panicked that night then worst happened and i was lucky to find some angles that night to save my life and help me realise no matter how much people hurt you or damage your life but there are others selfless souls in this world who spread peace and love and that makes me feel that there is absolutely no reason to give up on people who are no good for you or who treat you mean and create problems in your life but rather think about the nice people around and the goodness in this world and have hope and love in your heart thanks to those people who saved me and whom i would always be grateful to so here goes the letter hey nicole and i photo attached were noticed you were rather intoxicated within minutes you collapsed to the floor rich photo attached only one i have on my phone grabbed you up to sit up but you fell back down so he laid you on your side until the medical guys that were on site arrived we took you into a side room at this point there were only nicole rich pauline and i including the staff of town hall and party organisers and the
