i d l e w i f e wednesday june 18 2014 goodbye the time has come to bid adieu to the idle wife blog i know i know i said it a million times that the inspiration would come again soon i said i ll have the energy to come up with another brilliant diy project soon soon i can t even say i ll have the desire to share fixations or desktop backgrounds with you again i m still very much active on the internet it s not like i don t have the time for it i just don t want to right now the diy and home improvement blogs i used to draw a lot of inspiration from have become more about sponsorships book deals and having a team of crafters at your disposal and i feel like everything has gotten extremely monotonous i don t want to be just another blog with the same project in a different colour and i definitely don t want to take my one successful project and continue using it as the starting point for every subsequent project on my blog so since i feel as though there s nothing more i can add to this party the time has come for me to go at any rate i m not going to shut the blog doors completely this site will remain long after i m gone and if you still have a question or problem about the bath bombs or well that s the only one you all care about i will receive notifications and i ll reply as quickly as i can you can still find me pinning feverishly but facebook and twitter will be i m doing pineapples because that s what everyone else is doing not really but sorry nonetheless i just keep seeing these darn things everywhere and for once i actually kinda like them this was more of an experiment to see how well i d be at sorta kinda drawing a pineapple in photoshop and making my own repeating pattern with it i think it turned out ok graphic like better if viewed from a distance in my opinion so if you don t like this particular desktop that s cool to be honest in about another month i ll have seen so many pineapples i ll never want to see another one again either i don t know quite how to describe it other than to say it s sort of like an upscale cooler version of the dollar store there re so many neat things i usually have to wander around twice just to get a look at everything probably one of the best things i ve spotted was a basic spirograph since getting this mini one i have not been able to put it down the combination of patterns is endless and no matter what i do the designs always turn out super pretty i m completely addicted thankfully we have gotten ourselves a scanner printer so i made some designs and scanned them in for a desktop
