directly translated it means how are you called if you ask a french person that they ll know you mean what is your name so because of this language barrier this is my theory all the broken speech is just the direct translation not making complete sense in english my other theory is rocky was very literal with his speech quel est votre nom is the literal translation of what is your name it d be like him using that instead of comment t apples tu it wouldn t be easy the latter comes much more naturally than the former but i feel like rocky would do it then start to shift over to his normal
