group called live action has come out with three videos exposing the practice of aborting babies because of their gender the videos are definitely worth watching it s so sick to me that anyone could carry a child long enough to be able to tell what gender they are and then choose to kill them because they aren t happy with the child s gender at 18 weeks of pregnancy many women can feel their baby move the baby also has arms legs internal organs bones muscles eyes nose mouth ears and maybe even some hair you can read about how baby has developed at 18 weeks on baby center i don t understand how this is allowed the pro abortion people often say abortion is a women s health issue how is this in any way a health issue killing a child for the sake of killing because you don t like the baby s gender this is beyond horrific to me i wonder if the people who choose to do this really value the children they choose to let live and at what point does the baby become a valued member of their family i mean if you can just kill the baby when they are clearly a baby where do you draw the line and these are some of the same people who rightly get upset because people in some parts of the world do kill their babies after they are born if they are girls of course that is heinous and horrific i have to ask though at what point does it become wrong to kill a child my answer is that it is always wrong there is never ever a point where it s ok to have an abortion people can debate when life starts all they want but i want to put it to you like this if scientists discovered a once celled life form on another planet everyone would be very excited about the new life we ve found and they should be so why don t we value human beings the same way and why is the baby not considered alive when it comes to abortion but if someone were to kill a pregnant woman they would be charged with 2 counts of murder many abortion providers fight against ultrasound laws why because they know that many women will choose not to have an abortion when they see a beating heart and a baby s body when you can see your baby s heart beating at 7 weeks there is no doubt that is a living being i ve never understood the mentality of having an abortion to me that baby is a life and let me add this is not a religious issue this is a human issue a life is a life period i wish people who are so quick to run to planned parenthood for abortions would consider the many loving couples that do all they can and simply can t have children of their own while some women are quick to kill their babies because they are inconvenient or the wrong gender there are so many who would do anything to have a child there are many families who would gladly adopt the baby these women are so eager to dispose of like i said i ve just never understood what could make having an abortion ok with people it makes absolutely no sense to me they say it s a health issue or a women s right s issue but what about the health of the baby what about the rights of the baby and what about some of the fathers that fight against a woman having an abortion what about their rights i believe abortion is the most selfish act if you don t want a baby don t have sex if that s too hard for you use some protection it s really not that difficult be responsible and if you do find yourself pregnant there is always adoption you don t to me i m not looking for a fight just a simple explanation ok this is what i fail to grasp in new york city the liberal government wants to ban the sale of large sugary drinks it s supposed to help people be healthier apparently people aren t capable of making their own choices when it comes to what they drink and it s not just large sugary drinks trans fats too and even lunches children bring to school from home are being monitored all under the guise of making sure we stay healthy so just to be clear they believe the government has the right to regulate what you consume do i have that correct next liberals fight for abortion rights shoot planned parenthood the nation s largest abortion provider just endorsed barack obama and donated 1 4 million to his campaign liberals and the abortion industry seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly they fight for the right of women to have abortions for women to be able to choose after all they argue it s a woman s body and she should decide what happens with it do i have that right i d hate to be going on wrong information here so why is it not ok for the government to tell a woman what she can do with her body but it is ok for the government to tell her what she can eat or drink which i think would be considered what she can do with her body is anyone else confused by this i find it awfully hypocritical that liberals can fight for abortions under the guise of it s my body and i can do what i want but they feel perfectly justified and logical in dictating what people can and can t eat and drink so it s ok to kill headings 18 may 2012 by denisethinks i love this poem but it scares the heck out of me too however i think with so many of our freedoms being torn away and the government gaining so much power it is quite fitting now whenever i think about tyranny and oppression this comes to mind when i think about how close we are to falling into that i think of this it s pretty profound don t know what had to close down because the government said and did you hear that bake sales are now banned in massachusetts a few days ago a utah high school was fined 15 000 for selling a soda during lunch because we certainly can t have people choosing for themselves what they will drink a few months ago we saw stories coming out of north carolina about how children who had healthy lunches packed from home had their lunches taken and replaced with a school lunch because a government inspector decided the healthy lunches from home were not up to state standards but chicken nuggets were and remember when the city of san francisco banned happy meals at mcdonald s because of the toys in them because apparently we can t trust parents to make the correct decisions about feeding their children so much for father knows best the government knows best right what s the phrase we re from the government and we re here to help now these are just a few examples there are so many more so the question is why is the government getting involved in what we eat why does the government feel the need to tell people what they can and cannot eat ahhh good questions the answer is simple the government thinks you and i are too stupid to make the choices they think are correct yeah if mcdonald s sells me a toy i m totally going to buy a happy meal i was going to go home and eat salad and mixed vegetables but that happy meal toy pushed me over the edge i just couldn t resist what this is ridiculous all of it but it s not just about our collective stupidity it s about money yeah that s right it s about money see here s how this works under obamacare the government will pay for everyone s health care now if someone has unhealthy eating habits they are likely to be unhealthier than those that eat healthy foods and if they are unhealthy that means more money the government has to pay for their healthcare yes suddenly they are caring about what they are spending so if they intervene and save you from your stupid self they won t have to pay as much in the long run for your health care but it s not just the food that s an issue did you know that a little while back the government changed their recommendations on how often women should have a mammogram the recommendation went from being once a year to once every two years and in some cases every five or ten years holy cow that sure seems to go against all the conventional wisdom we ve been told so why change it to save money on the tests how about vaccines now i m not against vaccines not at all but i am against being forced to get them i do believe people should have the right to choose whether or not they want any or all of them however in some states little girls are required to get a vaccine that is supposed to prevent certain types of the hpv virus which can lead to cervical cancer the problem is it s only those forms of the virus that are passed solely trough sexual activity so now we have to have our 10 and 11 year old girls being vaccinated against an std but the nanny knows best right there certainly are many more examples but in the interest of time and interest i ll stop there so what does this have to do with homeschooling stick with me here here s the thing when the government starts dictating to you what you can and can t eat what medical tests you can and can t have what medications you can and can t have what doctors you can and can t see they ve already gone into the most personal parts of your life when the government takes over your medical care the very thing you depend on for your health and well being they ve crossed a line on a very intimate level when the government is mandating your life and death decisions everything else looks like small potatoes telling students they can t drink soda suddenly doesn t seem like that big of a deal when they are telling your grandma tha...
