gina makes games gina makes games yknow on occasion ask me anything rss archive maternalcube i have the great honor and deepest pleasure of sharing with you tonight a short twine game that i made for class months ago its about fucking mermaids i made a real professor at a real university play it for a grade i got an a its not actually about fucking mermaids its about finding yourself in a body that doesnt fit theres an eldritch horror too play it here 6 years ago 32 notes gamejammed again this year d 7 years ago 3 notes gamejam 2019 i ve only wanted to make this game for three years d 7 years ago 7 notes so far easier than anticipated but i havent gotten far yet sketches for an environmental storytelling project 7 years ago more concepts 7 years ago concepts for a scrolling based narrative game 7 years ago note to self falling game would work better as a platformer 9 years ago maternalcube i dreamed last night that i was at this big ole haunted victorian with a really bizarre floor plan and i had four little sibs and the ghost had locked them all in diff parts of the house yard and i was trying to find and rescue them i remember opening a lil trapdoor and using a hook to get a key to unlock some kind of tower lighthouse room in which the older of my two little sisters was trapped i also got the younger of my two little brothers out but i dont remember how and id found the other brother locked in the pantry but not the sister who turned out to be in the same tower as the first sister great job at the searching thing me when i inadvertently freed the ghost from the house which was all it wanted so he showed up in a bathrobe and just handed me the last two keys and commended me on an entertaining search sometimes he was narrating stuff during it had a really dear esther aesthetic but also a kind of gone home vibe and might make a fun game actually 9 years ago 3 notes putting this here so i can remember it later concept a game with no falling damage and the whole point is just to jump off high things 9 years ago 1 notes maternalcube maternalcube did i just spend the past couple hours ripping various spaceships from voltron legendary defender screenshots and putting them in a space invaders style web game you bet your ass i did you can play it here bear in mind its still very much a work in progress lemme know your high score mines 1323 ps it might work on mobile someone try it and let me know o update 1 10 thanks to greenhouse nurse and legendarydefenderexe for letting me know it works on mobile and thanks to materassassino for suggesting adding arrow key controls i have now done that ive also added a new enemy check it out via maternalcube 9 years ago 61 notes an update voltron 2012 2026 gina makes games next page page 1 2
