ls once our graduation caps had long since hit the floor she was talking about the importance of having a positive worldview and specifically how important it is to always expect the best she told us to tell ourselves that things always work out for me thats what she said its something ive really appreciated its what i always tell myself to this day even thought some things havent worked out in band class it was the day of auditions for the honor band the director went through her spiel about how procedure for getting through all hundred something of us would go but then before leaving the podium she mentioned something that disquieted me you are always auditioning a little bit of panopticon theory but i still really love it because its not just about the big defining moments in life every moment is defining the smaller moments perhaps much moreso even thats what ive been tossing around my mind ever since you have to hold yourself up at all times stay true to your morals and values its very comforting to me in a way it makes life feel so much cleaner and even easier when you have things that you consistently stand up for or against i suppose that advice directly led to my current passion for developing my worldview and values as such a healthy and proactive view of the world and self is really all we have and is immensely worth investing thought and time into developing its all in the mind truly charl0ttan also in geometry class my junior year geometry classroom was not unlike many other classrooms in having lots of knickknacks and posters all over these classroom posters were such a great boon for the right type of student somebody with a mind curious enough to be perennially bored out of searching for stimulation grazing all the mantras and mementos in the room so as to learn as much as possible about what the teacher or whoever it was who had put everything together thought was important enough to put up or perhaps meaningless enough to leave out in my geometry classroom there was this one little poster right by the door about the power of yet i would passively read it every time i left the room tossing its shape around i cant solve that yet yet felt like a superpower it felt like a real amount of mental leverage like doing a full and honest pullup to a higher level of personal efficacy ive applied it mostly to music genres im not into yet but i really love applying it to anything i can embracing change and growth its been so important to me to have that little secret like a secret passageway towards materially beneficial
