post i remembered something that i wanted to post because james didn t have his fishing gear he couldn t wade the river and get on the island with jon jake josh and myself so david being the great grandfather and father inlaw he is stayed on the other side of the river to fish with james and mckay after david had caught several fish and mckay realed them in mckay made comment that grampa david was the best fisherman he had ever seen david was catching a lot fish but in is continuing divine wisdom of the day i heard him from across the river say to mckay uncle curtis is pretty good to mckay grampa david is the best fisherman posted by curtis wall at 10 18 pm 1 comment i finally down loaded my pictures from the fishing trip we took a couple of weeks ago i think the pictures show some weather conditions that might make you think it was not a very good day to be fishing but the company made it great and to quote my brothers divine wisdom build the kids a fire they will stay all day and since we were on a island i didn t think we could burn the forest down the fishing was great we caught rainbows browns and cutthroats and i think we took home a dozen nice rainbows the money fish another camp fire story i don t know if my vision is getting bad but there were a couple of times i had to stop to locate david on the other side of the river but as i think about it i am pretty sure it was his camo clothes it was also pretty nice to see jon using his waders again i am glad they were just not an expense for the alaska trip thanks for the fishing trip it will be another great memory posted by curtis wall at 9 51 pm no comments wednesday april 14 2010 i was watching some of the mormon messages on you tube the other night president monson has one that i really enjoyed it is called what matters most i believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojurn upon this earth are the lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not and what is most important almost always involves the people around us often we assume that they must know how much we love them but we should never assume we should let them know william shakespear wrote they that do not love do not show there love despite the changes which come in to our lives may we fill our days as much as we can with those things that matter most may we cherish those we hold dear and express our love to them in word and deed send that note to a friend who you have been neglecting give a child a hug give you parents a hug say i love you more always express your thanks never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved i went fishing the other day with those people that matter most i had a great day we even caught some beautiful money fish rainbows i just really enjoyed that day it is great to be in the outdoors thanks jon jake josh my brother david james and mckay i got back to idaho falls took care of the fish had a brat hot dog with jon and then headed home to logan i found myself thinking about my mom and dad and president monsons message i called them on my cell phone and expressed my love for them and told my dad how much i appreciated him spending all the time he did with us in the outdoors so josh when were standing by the sink cleaning the fish and you asked me how i learned to do all these things i learned them from my dad and i love him for it love dad posted by curtis wall at 9 39 pm 1 comment thursday april 8 2010 i did it i have now posted a picture yahhoo posted by curtis wall at 8 42 pm no
