blog rules dispelling the rumors the need to preach the atonement by the death of christ posted by joel taylor the sense of debt to christ is the most profound and pervasive of all emotions in the new testament and only a gospel which evokes this as the gospel of atonement does is true to the primitive and normal christian type not only must atonement by the death of christ be preached if we would assurance when and how are we sealed by the spirit posted by joel taylor when and how the believer is sealed with the spirit is the question many of the puritans and certain of their contemporary disciples agreeing that sealing is the assuring of the sealed of their salvation contend that the sealing is a work of the spirit that follows faith in christ in time often after many biblical doctrine when are we sealed by the holy spirit posted by joel taylor we learn the truth about assurance especially from three passages or kinds of passages of scripture the first is those texts that teach the sealing work of the spirit several texts teach that the spirit seals the believer including ii corinthians 1 21 22 ephesians 1 13 14 and ephesians 4 30 ephesians 1 13 14 is the most assurance an indispensible work of the spirit not of christians posted by joel taylor assurance is not our own work our own achievement by our own hard efforts neither is assurance bestowed in recognition of the superior spirituality by which a few children distinguish themselves from the rest of the congregation it is an important aspect of the gospel that god not only wills to save all his it is not sinful to vote for donald trump posted by joel taylor i have grown weary and very disappointed while watching professing christians twist and pervert scripture in order to make a case for their political candidate in this upcoming presidential election the display of ignorance of scripture is absolutely astounding listen folks it is not a sin to vote for donald trump let s get off our august 03 ted nugent 20 reasons to vote for donald trump posted by joel taylor while ted nugent guitarist extraordinaire has not officially endorsed a presidential candidate he has released a few reasons for voting for the donald this november food for thought makes ya think doesn t it obama is against trump the media is against trump the establishment democrats are against trump the establishment republicans are against trump the bikers for hillary are storming philadelphia and the dnc convention posted by joel taylor this is unbelievable june 13 call the orlando shooter what he was wicked posted by joel taylor when we look at the lives of others the last thing we think of is the responsibility attached to the person for being what he or she is it is also likely to be the last thing we think of when examining ourselves heredity and environment we are told by the world and its media sbc pressured to ban confederate flag anti southerner russell moore supports posted by joel taylor russell moore heading the public policy arm of the sbc is making waves and leading the charge for all practical purposes in having the sbc officially ban the display of the confederate battle flag from public view may he and his liberal politically correct historically ignorant ilk be defeated without prejudice and to the poll was man created with an empty soul in need of being filled posted by joel taylor i was told this week that man was created with an empty soul that needs to be filled with something hmm i don t think so nothing god breathed at creation needs anything after the fall of man that s a different question regardless of your answer i d be interested in hearing your comments on why or why march 08 ted cruz follows voices from god heard through wife posted by joel taylor by way of ted cruz s father rafael we get a view into the theology of the cruz family and it s not exactly comforting it certainly is not scriptural this is what happens when people are not taught the biblical truth that god speaks only through his written word my son ted spent 6 months 5ptsalt lives posted by joel taylor ok so most of you have realized i ve been offline for awhile good at least you re paying attention after much contemplation we re back online it was close people i almost didn t renew it i won t go into all the details of the why s and whatnots and bottom lines fact is it s been a lot of put down your phone and start living posted by joel taylor forget about donald trump s moral center posted by joel taylor those of you who are slamming donald trump for lacking a moral center need to be reminded that christianity is not primarily about morality it s about substitution if you want to slam the donald fine just don t make morality your christian argument otherwise it becomes quite clear that you do not understand the christian faith voddie baucham on barack obama and martin luther king jr posted by joel taylor the myth of the radical muslim posted by joel taylor the mainstream media in america and the united states government if it can be called that at all has hoodwinked lied to and gone out of their way to deceive american citizens as to their true wicked intentions the destruction of christianity which will never happen every religion on earth in every age since what is joy in the holy spirit posted by joel taylor and hope does not disappoint because the love of god has been poured out within our hearts through the holy spirit who was given to us romans 5 5 the spirit of god does not work in vacuo he glorifies christ he works through the propitiation interpreting revealing and applying it if we think of a life well pleasing to god posted by joel taylor and do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove what the will of god is that which is good and acceptable and perfect romans 12 2 in god s sight the life that is good and well pleasing to him is a life striving sin is a punishment posted by joel taylor sin is not a natural force or a condition in which man participates against his will the result of sin in not a fate to which man falls victim as a prey nor is it a natural process of destruction but to the contrary sin is a punishment that god decrees upon man september 25 10 reasons why roman catholicism and christianity will forever be irreconcilable posted by joel taylor the issue which is often brought out amongst protestants and catholics is whether roman catholics are christians and does catholic theology agree with the bible it
