watching the clouds float across the sky is by no means a waste of time john lubbock 1 blue skies upper 60s when i got up it s been beautiful again today still no smoke tbtg i m keeping my fingers crossed that it will continue like that even though the fires continue to burn around us we seem to be in a good place to avoid the wind smoke 2 e was working today at the little lunch bakery goodies place she temps at you may remember b l and i went over and had lunch there last month 3 breakfast was trader joe s sweet apple chicken sausage a fried egg a piece of killer dave s toast with polaner sugar free jam and some cantaloupe lunch was a peanut butter and jam sandwich i m not in charge of supper so no telling what i ll have 4 b has spent the day in portland playing golf i suppose the fact that i haven t heard anything from him is good news 5 greisser girls gab kicks off in less that an hour i m excited to hear from them and find out what they ve been doing since we didn t meet last more is the virus that results when we are not content with and grateful for what we already have jan edmiston 1 it was warm overnight upper 60s and sunny when i got up high so far this afternoon is 91 deg but the smoke seems to be gone 2 the housekeepers came today so i was up especially early up showered dressed and reading my email before 8 30 they changed the sheets on the bed swept and mopped the floor and cleaned the bathroom they were gone by 10 30 3 breakfast was maple pecan granola with blueberries lunch was tunafish salad and ritz crackers supper will be feed yourself 4 b is in portland playing golf with a friend of his he drove down this morning will play a short par 3 round late this afternoon and tomorrow will play a round in the morning and another one in the afternoon then he ll spend the night and drive home on wednesday morning i m glad he s getting this opportunity 5 e has been around all day getting herself caught up with things that she didn t do while she was morning we ve had lots of sunshine with a high temperature of 92 deg the aqi is still lurking in the 50s but it s no longer in the 150s like it was a couple of days ago 2 b and e left kingman az about 8 00 am they re making pretty good time they decided to drive to vegas and then north they are past elko and headed to twin falls we may see them tonight this picture is from last night no wonder they up 75 deg it s currently 94 deg but the skies are blue and the smoke seems to have departed aqi this morning was in the 50s praise be to god the forecast says that we may get up to 98 deg but it s going to have to go some 2 i spent the morning reading emails and working on some things i m writing 3 breakfast was a fried egg two strips of bacon and a piece of killer dave s toast with polaner this morning with lingering smoke around noon it started to clear out a little with blue skies returning it s still not completely clear but the aqi has dropped to 105 high this afternoon is supposed to be 100 or maybe 101 2 b left early like around 5 00 am to drive to phoenix e and l went to the airport to await their flight to seattle at 8 30 they boarded their flight from seattle to phoenix about 2 00 b is planning to spend the night in kanab utah and then drive the rest of the way tomorrow morning he ll unload pick up e and drive back to where he spent the night then he and e will do upper 60s and more smoke it s hotter than it has been currently 97 deg it may get up to 98 before nightfall the aqi is over 160 unhealthy for all groups 2 i was slow getting started this morning and caused an air quality alert about noon the high may reach the forecast 81 deg but now it s only 78 2 i got my clothes underwear and nightgowns washed dried and hung up there were some little scraps of brown paper on a lot of the clothes i picked off as much as i could and then ran the self clean cycle 3 breakfast was a small slice of ham a fried egg del monte red grapefruit sections and a slice of
