rob son rob son sunday august 3 2014 happy anniversary we had a great last week of july we celebrated what we now refer to as our family s birthday our family turned 10 the year wahoo while the boys were at father and sons abby and i had our annual girlie night isn t this the cutest yes austin is missing one of his lenses abby had been asking me when f s is so we can have our girlie time we have a tradition of eating out she chose pizza pie cafe painting our toenails and giving each other makeovers abby thinks she may have over done my eyeshadow at the end of the week we ditch the kids at ben s sister jen s house and took off to park city for 2 night it was glorious and a great way to end ben s sabbatical and celebrate our anniversary if you find yourself in park city you must go to vinto it is a delicious italian restaurant with the best gelato thanks to jen for the recommendation we ended the trip with a beautiful ride up and down the park city town lift posted by alison at 5 06 pm ships out in a few week he brought his daughter grace along we have gone on a few excursions walking the rope bridge at the aquarium visiting the penguins at the aquarium being eaten by a shark wagon ride at thanksgiving point can t skip the pony ride abby and bryson found the halloween costumes gbb s loves to ride around with his cup this is his classic cheese face ben and gbb s taking a break from yard work ben decided to dethatch our lawn this was the pile of thatch after we raked it all up the kids had a great time playing in it abby reading to gbb s posted by alison at 9 18 am no comments saturday july 5 2014 surgery and sonagrams gbb s being his cute self he was sticking his peach slices in his mouth so it looked like a smile but every time i tried to snap a picture he would pull it out and say cheese austin grew these radishes all by himself he was pretty proud of his achievement but had no interest in actually eating them the kids have been on a painting spree for the last few weeks this is my submission for parent of the year award yes he is sound asleep the kids had their surgeries on friday the nurses were so sweet to them the gave them caps to take home for being brave and special pillow cases to keep thank goodness for ipads that kept the kids entertained while we waited for their turn they gave them some meds to help relax them bryson holds his liquor well but woke up an angry drunk abby got tipsy really fast she was so loopy and completely hilarious their anesthesiologist was awesome he made them feel at ease even before he dopped them up he told them that the little monitor that they put on their fingers to check their oxygen levels was a boyfriend girlfriend counter and would tell how many boy girlfriends they had the kids thought it was hilarious and both asked after their surgery how many it said after their surgery and the rage and tears diminished the both enjoyed their popsicles they have bounced back pretty well but both still walk around like little old people some more adorable pics of my gbb s wearing abby s cape i finally had my ultrasound we are having boy 4 if he only had a name we are open to suggestions we are very excited he has bee kicking like crazy posted by alison at 8 28 pm no comments sunday june 1 2014 the beginnings of summer austin s last day of school memorial day gbb s hilarious smile the dance festival bryson is in the green shirt abby is a bit like where s waldo she is in the middle of the picture with a white shirt and green shorts with her arm in the air they both did an awesome job in their dances awards assembly abby recieved 2 awards perfect attendance and the falcon award which on 3 kids got in her class it is an award for going the extra mile in school and being all around awesome bryson with his awesome teacher he wrote about how much he loved her everyday in his school journal abby and her teacher who adored abby my sweet gbb s he was pretending the wheelbarrow was a
