s day coming up in a couple of weeks i really needed to get started card 1 i have just purchased the spectrum noir tri blend markers i used to have the complete set but sold them a while ago now i loved the idea of having 3 markers in 1 they certainly take up less space so i wanted to try them out so brought out a cute image to practice on and ended up putting together a birthday card i distressed the background with oxide inks added the clouds popped up the image and embossed the sentiment card 2 i die cut the sentiment a number of times in different colours and just started to put cards together this one i paired with a tool bag and tools coloured with my new markers card 3 i used a couple of old hls sets for the sentiments and used some new tool dies i cut them first in silver mirror card then cut them again in red card so i could overlay the handles i would like to enter my cards over at the following challenges card 1 allsorts create your own background through the purple july 2022 happy cute 21st birthday reveal wheel hi everyone i hope you are well a very quick post from me tonight i made this card just over a week ago as a young lady i work with celebrated her 21st birthday she had seen one of my interactive cards a few weeks ago and she loved it i decided i would make her a reveal wheel card using lawn fawn goodies i was making this in a bit of rush but happened to take progress shots for my co workers the photos aren t great as i wasn t even going to blog this card but you will get the idea getting everything ready to colour and assemble i smothered the die cut sentiment with glossy accents and left it overnight to dry i added a sparkly 21 to the inside of the card i would like to enter my card over at the following challenges dies r us challenge up set called wishes and wonders i stamped the sleigh and sentiment coloured the image then added sequins for interest it s a shame my photo didn t capture it but i coloured the gold part of the quick note for me on the back of creating a mother s day card for a friend they asked me to display my cards in their shop they have been going really well and i ve had to start making some to replace hi there it s time for a new challenge over at less is more we are just about to hit winter here in australia where i live it has been raining for the last two weeks straight today is windy and cold even though i live in a subtropical climate yuck there has been major flooding around the state and i hope everyone is keeping safe here is my card i decided to slice up some coloured card then glue lim sunday 8 may 2022 share the love for mother s day hi everyone i hope you are well it s mother s day here today i ve had a lovely relaxing time i spent a few hours with my son and my grandchildren the perfect day i have a couple of cards to share with you for mother s day these two cards i made for friends to give to their mums card 1 i used altenew s peony bouquet to create this card i was inspired by this card here i stamped and embossed on watercolour card i used distress oxide inks to colour the images this was the first time i had used these inks to watercolour and i didn t really get the depth i was hoping for even so i m happy with the end result i don t have the coordinating dies for this set so everything was fussy cut i embossed the sentiment in gold from the lawn fawn love poems set and die cut it out using the banner from the lawn fawn double slider surprise die set in the middle i ve stamped happy mother s day i added sequins and water drops this angle really shows how pretty the gold embossing is card 2 this amazing bear is from a close to my heart set called bear hugs i stamped the main image a few times using my misti to get good coverage i die cut a generic thanks out of gold mirror card and popped it up with foam tape finally i stamped the hearts and coloured them in i would like to enter my cards over at the following challenges card 1 say recipe technique i decided to go with a coloured card base and create a cute little tag using lawn fawn products my 2 grandson just celebrated his 1st birthday i have made cards for the grandkids but put them away in their own little folders to give them on their 18th birthdays so this card is for william i stamped coloured my images and die cut them out i also die cut some grass and of course and i am really happy how it turned out i decided to use the timeless tulips stamps by stampin up i ve had these for a while and have maybe only used them once instead of using ink i wanted to use polychromo pencils to add colour and i also used the no line colouring technique i stamped the tulips and leaves with antique linen distress oxide ink i used my pencils to add colour and depth to the images i ve never had much luck with no line colouring but this time i was extremely pleased with the results i would like to enter my card over at the following challenges pearly sparkle challenges
