afternoon stamper afternoon stamper a blog showing my latest creations in handmade cards the tools i used and the inspiration behind each card pages home design teams saturday august 25 2018 pti make it monday layering patterns over images it s been awhile since i posted a card for papertrey ink make it monday challenge this week dawn challenged everyone to layer a pattern over stamped images so for my card i stamped flowers and leaves using pti s gran s garden stamp set over that i stamped using a background stamp from inkadinkado the sentiment was embossed using a stamp from ginak called scripty sayings i ve been on a gold kick lately so i added some gold washi tape with ribbon and also added some gold stickles to the stamped red stars i didn t have a lot to choose from for background challenge to make a gate fold card i pulled out my favorite ai stamp called madge i just love it so i use it a lot i paper pieced her outfit with papers from recollections bright basic paper pad the pti mix mat pretty brackets die i lined the back with vellum the flowers were from the pti stamp die set called fresh bouquet the sentiment celebrate die cut is from the penny black set called using the pti you ve been framed oval die this is one of my favorite dies it s a quick way to make a really great card by just changing up the background the flowers are from the pti mini blooms recipes created by the design team i m using the color recipe from lizzie jones for my card i used the pti mighty oak stamp set and cover plate this is one of my favorites just by changing up the color of the leaves you create a whole different look with this color palette it gives my card a spring season look for an easter birthday the sentiment is from the pti stamp set delightful dahlia
