the pippins skip to main skip to sidebar the pippins tuesday april 10 2012 springtime with great power comes great responsibility this is my curse who am i i m spiderman i have been enjoying what they are calling iphone photography i take pictures using my iphone camera than use an app called camera you can then mess with the temperature highlights contrast etc right there while you are waiting for your turn at the dr after messing with that there are 28 filters you can use and over a dozen different frames this picture of cooper in gabe s spiderman mask may actually be the awesomest picture i have ever taken i love it and i fully admit a little disappointment in the lack of responses on facebook when i posted it i think i shall blame it on the fact that i feel many are getting tired of facebook and i send great big snaps in addy s direction for hanging true to the blogging here is our dentist princess she did great for her first time and has no cavities yay me everyone at the office fell quickly in love with her like that is hard to do she was super excited for a pink and purple toothbrush but was also very willing to be done it has been spring break this last week and even though i was laid up with cellulitis in my leg i tried to get out to the park with the pippsqueaks a few times we had fun at the municipal park in roy and even got to spend some time with nanna at the end of the week i did have to revisit the dr about my leg i don t know was it worth it love this one of nanna and paisley she is looking at nanna so sweetly a last minute trip to idaho proved to be and adventure it was cold and windy but we love visiting grandpa erv and grandma debbie we love the warm fires and endless cartoons jake has a mission companion whom has had some success in the writing industry one of his series is called monster hunter each one of our children have one of these there s no monsters under my bed love this picture of my mom grammie and paisley paisley welcomed our new little boy cooper the beginning of november he has been a sweet little addition to our family the day we brought him home paisley almost 2 1 2 belt over him and giggled for a few minutes she says mommy coopie cute she does get a little jealous but doesn t take it out on the baby gabriel is a great big brother which we ve known since paisley was born he loves having a baby brother jake continues to plug away at school at the datc in kaysville in web developing hopefully he will be done in the next few months and we can move on in our lives gabriel is in 1st grade and loves it we have had some concerns with his social behavior and aspergers has been brought to our attention we have met with a pediactric psychologist and she agrees that he posses very many of the qualities of an aspie in january we will pursu a diagnosis if there is a need for one this way we can take the steps to help gabe as he grows up with the social and physical hinderances that coincide with being an aspie child gabriel has also been taking tumbling for the last 6 months and loves being part of something he loves video games lego anything and reading i can t believe that he is going to be in senior primary in the next few weeks one of my favorite things he has said lately is in a prayer soon after we moved him to the basement and heavenly father please help me not be afraid of monsters because well mom says they are not real but i don t believe her he makes me laugh everyday paisley is just a joy she has a personality ten times her size and puts smiles on all of outfaces many times a day she loves cinderella and belle she loves pretending to go somewhere like the store for more stuff school to get gabey and work to get daddy she loves to sing la la songs and makes songs out of anything broccoli poopy pants and boots etc we love our little firecracker cooper is a sweetheart he loves to be held and loves to take naps with mommy he was diagnosed recently with congenital cataracts in his left eye luckily it is a small spot on the front of the lens so he is able to focus past it without a problem we will have to do checkups every three months for the next year or so to make sure it is not hindering his eyesight at all or getting bigger we are excited for the holiday season and getting to spend time with family and friends we love giving gifts paisley saw a christmas tree at walmart the other day and said christmas tree bye bye christmas tree she is already learning the joys of the season i am waiting for the day when i walk downstairs and find her time to give an update i am so in love with our little family gabe started kindergarten this year he loves it he has picked up reading like a pro and practices on everything signs packages tvs and his favorite video games video games he talks about them like that is all he does all day long first it was mario then donkey kong he is obsessed he wants to talk about it all the time yes all the time he is a sweetheart and loves to make us laugh i guess that hasn t changed paisley is such a happy spunky smart little thing i just want to eat her up about twenty times a day she is truly a joy and we thank our heavenly father for her everyday she adores her big brother and has to see him first thing in the morning and loves going outside to get him from school everyday she thinks orvis is funny loves to sing the cleanup song she likes to pull a funny face and plug her ears mouthing words just to be silly she has beautiful hair that is curly and bouncy when she runs okay obviously i could go gabriel had swim lessons and loved them all of june he keeps asking me when swim lessons are and then starts laughing because he remembers they are over we had a fun primary activity at the park where the roy fire department comes and sprays everyone from the truck jake has started a web developing program at the datc and works still mckay he works hard and loves to hang out with the kids when he has time we had paisley s 1st birthday party a the park she is our little lady and had a ladybug cake we are so blessed to have this little delight in our lives she loves dada gabriel singing
