since i updated my blog my daywork has been quite busy and there s been an ongoing drama in the place where i live so i have been making wild decision since the beginning of the year and finally i am making concrete plans about it i am moving out from my current place in about 2 3 months so i decided to reduce my load by having a big sale on my book from today onwards till end of may 2016 or until admit these may not be a good photo as i was rushing just to complete them in time and distracted with afa 2014 t_t anyway here is the event detail venue the sun arcade basement tsim sha tsui hong blogged each pieces way back in the past yup luckily i always have some extra that i keep with me the 2 3 weeks that they gave me is more about making the furniture or display or table pieces few of these are actually some samples that i made when i write my book and just slightly more than a week before they also requested some hong kong michelin inspired food to be made into minis since i am working with air dry clay my main worry is always whether or not the pieces can dry within time and luckily i finished all 5 sets in time and few days to let it fully dry i have not even try all of these food myself and have to based everything from the photos i found online roast duck inspired by yung kee restaurant short rib burger and flat bread inspired by bread street kitchen bar prawn linguine and royal caprese salad inspired by jamie s italian shumai and baked bun and meat bun inspired by tim ho wan sweet sour pork with strawberry inspired by pang s kitchen now that all the exhibitions are over for these year and i am back to my day job i found myself with so much time i even forgot how it feels like hahaha time to search for new project next post will be about my do not have time to blog as i was rushing to complete the exhibition pieces 23 in total it may come as a surprise to some of you but some should have seen the update on my instagram about a secret project and the timing right after i was just done doing afa 2014 it will be another blog post i had to prepare to directly fly to hong kong it was a really busy year end for me i will also have another separate post regarding each miniature pieces d i received tremendous help in setting up all of the miniature it was kind of hard to juggle my day job preparing for afa 2014 and completing 23 miniature pieces at the same time i only have 2 3 hours of sleep everyday to rush completing everything reminiscence from writing my book last time xd luckily i still have some part of my own collections and selling stocks so i only have to make the furniture or display pieces it would be impossible to make all from scratch in just 2 3 weeks they also invited two gorgeous model rosemary and jamie who poses with my miniature here anyway here are some of the finished miniature pieces these photos are not taken by me but by mr kim i just have to put my logo to prevent photo thieves i
