the others who are doing this also i can tat but have seen so many new techniques that i want to learn and what better way than to keep in touch with all the other tatters who are helping to keep tatting alive sunday november 16 2014 no 25 i finally finished my last motif for my 3rd 25 motif challenge it s called yakut another from jon yusoff s book called elegant tatting gems i used lizbeth size 40 called spice cake i still have a few more to make to say i did all of them in her book but i will not be starting another challenge at this time i m facing some grave family issues at this lizbeth twirlz thread size 20 403 this thread is one of the newer threads from handy hands this is the first time i have used it and still don t know if i like it or not if you have to take it apart here posted by barbara gordon at 1 20 pm 2 comments wednesday december 4 2013 no 20 a b and c this is a pattern by samantha melnychuk 2000 after i had already started the last row i noticed that she had forgot to include a bead in the pattern no i wasn t going to take it apart for that but i will definitely make this pattern again i used lizbeth size 20 376 there should be another bead at the base of the last ring i made this one again this time i added the bead but i forgot to make the ring it looks different and i like it so it will just be pattern 2 for this one i m still going to try and make it right yet not while watching tv though it looks like a finer thread but it isn t it s just my picture taking motif 3 finally this one is according to the pattern that i used the last row has a ring and another bead added actually i like them all oh there is another one that i did but instead of starting with 8 rings i used 9 i gave it to a friend of mine and she like it better because
