bittersweettales bittersweet leave a comment here i am resplendent in my own disappointments the brilliance of a career has grown dim with me i m scared to face the gathering of people who once i shared splendor with for what am i now nothing just someone who tied the knot with a somebody who sacrificed every inch of her dream for the fulfillment of his i fight but i never win i struggle yet i never lose hope for whatever it is i have in my hands i nourish and whatever is that i cannot grasp i hold this is my life now my past was brighter my today is a blur still i cling to a promising future that s yet to unfold impatient shopper august 14 2011 bittersweettales in betweens leave a comment oh man some people were really born to test other people s patience i was in parco del monte avenue branch with my girls buying our two weeks worth of grocery so obviously our cart was full when it was our turn in the cashier aisle there was no line behind us so the cashier suggested i buy their membership card for future discounts i am really fond of discount cards so i quickly went to their customer service which is more or less 10 steps away from the cashier to get the form and temporary card when i went back to my line there was this guy waiting and started mumbling impatiently behind my back ang dami kase isa lang naman ang sa kin too many items i only got one item to pay i turned to him and stared at him from head to foot i was in the verge of saying to his face stupid jerk you shouldn t have waited in line when you saw my grocery that s only a bottle of shampoo you re buying you should have bought that in a local store near you instead of buying here in a wholesale supermarket of course i bit my tongue for my girls sake so to piss him off more i unloaded my grocery really slow haha too bad for him i was also born to hit other people s nerves survey on a rainy day july 27 2011 bittersweettales vanity stuff leave a comment i was a bit busy with a chore and fb status checking on the side when two women knocked outside they said they were conducting a survey on consumer products and asked if i could spare a few minutes of my time after interrogating about their company and what the market research is all about i finally let them in the garage area near the gate fb and my chore could wait anyway they showed me a list of toiletry products and asked if i use any one of them well of course i take a bath haha then they narrowed it down to a list of feminine hygiene wash asking me if i have seen any of those in television ads it s just a simple yes or no answer until it came to a point that they showed pictures of various feminine wash products and then asked me how i come to know about those products i e tri media doctor product sampling etc at first i was very eager to answer but then i became impatient since the pictures are of the same brand but different variants only and i have to answer a particular question for all the variants crap impatiently i just said that my answer applies to the brand regardless of the variant what irritated me most is that we were talking under the rain for safety reasons that i cannot let them inside the house but then again i told myself to keep cool so the survey continued they requested me to describe a commercial of any feminine wash that i ve seen recently in detail i just told them what i could recall but then again the other girl kept asking so many follow up questions that triggered me to ask her back when you watch a tv show do you memorize every detail in a commercial to the point of observing what panty color is the girl wearing because i don t holy molly i was a bitch hahaha realizing immediately how rude i was i lowered my tone and still went on with their survey we were done after 10 minutes not solely because the survey was lengthy but because i became so talkative i gave them so much information and suggestions about the product they were endorsing lactacyd i told them that the product is good and if they re gonna change the packaging they should also come up with a cologne type bottle like ph care or a spray type one like that of bio tree that looks cool handy you could carry in your bag and won t accidentally leak and blah blah blah anyway even though taking their survey took me some time away from my computer i admire them it s not very easy knocking on somebody else s door begging them for a few minutes of time and getting sarcastic responses in the course of their work what s more estimable is that they re doing their job even on a stormy day when everyone else would prefer to stay home sit on their tooshies and waste time in front of a computer crap i m not referring to myself am i lol feminine hygiene lactacyd market research ph care survey incompetent and no lovelife june 16 2011 bittersweettales in betweens leave a comment anna felt incompetent today she has given up her quest for prince charming and decided to just focus on her job on the side i m part of those people giving her a social life anyway i m all thumbs up to my friend coz she really does excel in her field she doesn t have ocd but she makes sure that everything is in its place so it baffles her to get feedback making her feel that she is not quite doing her job what the heck is the boss thinking she is the most qualified and competent person i know and i ll hang myself if i lose her in my company i e if i were the boss you have proven yourself well and there are bigger opportunities for you outside but let it pass for a day i told her but if that heavy feeling is still there and you re still sensitive about it i ll give you something to decide on yes you felt incompetent but worse is that you don t even have a love life what a piece of advice but she thanked me for that endless road june 15 2011 bittersweettales bittersweet leave a comment it wasn t traffic no road accidents only a freeway but tonight was the longest trip home i had i don t normally drive on second gear if it isn t traffic and i really love taking shortcuts perhaps my senses got numb because i ve been out the whole day driving here and there doing errands but tonight was different flashbacks of memories happy and sad of friends and people i spent empty time with of life past and beyond i am quite an emotional person but for the past couple of months i managed to be tough i managed to stay happy and contented i managed not to cry but these flashbacks like ghosts haunting on an eerie night somehow tries to pry open all that is bottled up inside me i thought something has already filled up the empty space but there s still a void that i cannot explain somebody deserves something and i don t want to think that it will just be an endless chase feelings also get tired emotions sometimes need to bog down a little or perhaps i need to stop expecting too much yes tonight was different it s as if i was driving an endless road i don t know where this road will
