commercial just fell into a nitch here 200 plants later and pleny of free homebrew from friends would love to send you some to try out and review reply jim samis says march 17 2011 at 8 31 am jay saw you were wearing a dogfish hat i have a home in iowa but am currently back east live not too far from dogfish and go there as often as i can since i am new to your site was wondering if have reviewed any of their brews and if i can find same on your site when i come back to iowa shoul i bring a couple of semi s of your favorite df if you have one article in the local paper out here just announced they will be cutting back on distribution due to demand supply problems look forward to your response i am a big fan of there 90 min ipa jim reply marc hawley says april 6 2011 at 1 48 pm your doppelbock diet caught my attention it is something i have thought about trying according to what i have read you are taking only about 1000 calories per day i don t understand why it seems to me you should be consuming twice as much also the paulaner monks gave up solid food but i always assumed they drank some milk along with their liquid bread good luck reply wilson says april 6 2011 at 2 05 pm 1152 on weekdays and 1440 on weekends i have a job to do that s the long and short of it i m not trying to get hammered all the time i could certainly bump it up some but things seem fine at this rate these monks friars technically would have been vegetarians and didn t even consume milk or cheese the original vegans i suppose reply stephen says april 22 2011 at 10 15 am hi i just watched your interview on fox regarding the beer fast i was an avid homebrewer for years back in the 70s and 80s i am boning up on new info in preparation of getting back into the passion so i am happy to have discovered your website i have a question did you loose or gain weight during the fast thanks and i m looking forward to your book stephen reply wilson says april 22 2011 at 11 59 am stephen i ve lost about 24 pounds reply bgrant says april 28 2011 at 9 29 am i have really enjoyed coming along on your 46 day fast i have fasted many times although never longer than a week and have been inspired to perhaps follow suit next lent i am presently not a homebrewer aminly because i cook with beer more than i drink it although i do love a really good stout when i can find one i do have a question regarding mead though i have decided that my first forray into homebrewing will be with this drink of the gods and i am wondering if you have had any experience with it and could give some suggestions pax reply stephen says april 28 2011 at 12 28 pm wow you lost 24 pounds in 46 days the dukan diet made that french guy a millionaire i d a hellofa lot rather be on the doppelbock diet every kind of low carb diet has an introduction phase of 3 or 4 weeks and it s designed to get your body into weight loss mode i think you just hit on gold reply neumeon says july 18 2013 at 7 04 pm heard your interview on the bn s sunday session great interview you mentioned something briefly that i wish you would have elaborated on more but given the venue it probably wasn t appropriate you mentioned the rejection of the alcohol culture by many christians and what they overlook in history with the connection of christians and alcohol i would love to discuss this more with you having come from a tee totaling christian family and how i got clear of that mindset i m now an avid home brewer since 99 and i find so much more community and fellowship among fellow brewers than i ever did in a church setting thanks for undertaking your lenten challenge i m looking forward to reading your book randy reply wilson says july 19 2013 at 7 28 am hey neuron shoot me an email at jwilson at brewvana dot net to discuss further though a lot of that stuff is covered in the book also visit http www brewvana net rather than this site i switched over quite some time ago reply leave a comment cancel reply δ
