comment 2 26 2009 cameron and i are the sunbeam teachers in our ward we were called about a month after we moved into the ward sometime in july we absolutely love it seriously who ever would have thought love and the concept of 8 10 three year olds running around and crying would go together the kids absolutely love cameron he is so funny around them in no way am i saying that he is boring around adults but he is seriously hilarious around them every week i go home with sore abs due to my constant laugh attacks which are caused by both the children and my husband we have endless funny experiences with these kids cameron is not particularly fond of singing time the only reason i did not say that he absolutely hates it is because we have been practicing being positive about the whole ordeal so our kids do not figure out that we hate singing time more than they do but we do love class time last week we taught a lesson called we are grateful for night and day oh how i love the lessons for sunbeams for our art project we made headbands with the sun and the moon on them below are pictures of the headbands that cameron and i made stylin eh posted by ness at 2 54 pm 5 comments 2 24 2009 frost bitten train cameron and i love driving around and taking pictures of different things below are some pictures of an old train that we had to hike through the snow to get to we thought it was interesting to see a train buried in the snow i was wearing some slip on backless shoes so ended up nearly getting frostbite hopefully these pictures were worth it posted by ness at 8 22 am no comments you know that you are getting old when a few weeks ago cameron and i watched all of the kids while mom and dad larsen went on their cruise yep all the boys we actually had a great time the kids love cameron sometimes i get jealous so were really excited about the concept it was fun to play with them make dinner and get them ready for bed it was not fun to try and do all of the things mom does while keeping up with school and work so while i was taxiing the kids around to their various destinations i decided to take on the mommy role at maximum capacity i turned the radio station to 100 5 which is a classical station that also broadcasts shows like npr i honestly do not know what got into me i thought it was just because i was driving a giant mini bus it turns out that even when i took the kids around in our car i still listened to 100 5 today i drive around town listening to classical music it s official i am getting old posted by ness at 7 58 am no comments 1 31 2009 utah trip last weekend we went to salt lake we had so much fun our uncle curt got married so we made a fun trip out of it justin and kate handy came with us our plans were to go to the wedding saturday morning at 11 then head to the salt lake temple and do a session we arrived at the church at 10 30 and called mom and dad knapp to see where they were they were not anywhere near the church because apparently the wedding time had been changed to 1 30 without us ever being told so we decided to go to the draper temple open house we followed numerous signs and took a few wrong turns thanks to my superb map reading skills and womanly sense of direction but finally found the parking lot for the citizens that did not have tickets when we arrived we asked one of the volunteers how long it would take to get into the temple and get a tour it turned out that it would take about 2 hours which would not be enough time since we had to make it back for the wedding we decided just to drive up to the temple past all of the signs that said we could not drive there and take some pictures the temple was beautiful so after those few disappointments we decided to continue on with our fun plans of going to temple square and doing a session in the salt lake temple our friend kate had never been to temple square or through the salt lake temple so we were so excited to show it to her sadly enough disappointment struck again the temple was closed for cleaning sad day we decided to instead get a tour of the conference center which was so amazing even though we have been in the conference center many times and had recieved tours before new things stuck out to us it was so neat cameron and i loved all of the paintings which we found out were all original posted by ness at 6 05 pm no comments 1 14 2009 jackson it seems like life is always busy lately cameron has been volunteering at the hospital with every spare hour he has so most of our time spent together has been doing homework a few weeks ago we thought cameron had to work all day apparently we mixed the schedule up so we had the day off we decided to drive to jackson and take pictures with our new camera we had so much fun i spent most of the drive hanging out the window taking pictures we did stop a lot for me to take pictures at different times of the day the snow looked so beautiful that day it was a sunny day so all of the snow that was on the trees sparkled we tried to go to a famous cabin that cameron s ancestors built but there was too much snow on the little road that went to it hopefully we will
