exorbitant amount of time capturing and selecting the screenshots that went into a post images for anime posts are easy mode in comparison to my older technical posts that used stock photos to fill space and break up the text but didn t add much beyond nowadays i could use an ai model to generate me some images and sure the result would be creatively bankrupt contribute to boiling the oceans and sunder the livelihoods of artists but image regardless of origin image management becomes increasingly difficult the more you have and the longer you have them part of the recent chaostangent com remaster was a project i called the enwidening moving from a column width of 624 pixels to well something wider the problem i had close to twenty years worth of images all targeting that original
