snow babies skip to main skip to sidebar saturday may 11 2013 almost five months our little guy is growing up way too fast he will be five months old next week which is unbelievable as of his four month check up drew weighed 14 pounds 8 1 2 ounces and was 23 3 4 inches tall he s grown a lot in the last few months he s starting to show more and more of his personality with smiles giggles and lots of new noises he s started batting at his toys and watching what we re doing a lot he really stares at us when we re eating so we re thinking about giving him some solid food very soon he has started using his bumbo seat and just recently his jumparoo which he loved his head is pretty flat in the back so hopefully using those more will help with that we ve finally got his reflux under control and he s been consistently eating 6 8 ounces at a time he s also started sleeping all night long 7 am until 6 am right after his four month birthday uncle jeff and aunt jen taught us a new bat wing swaddle that helped with that and now for the pictures three months old march snowstorm drew stayed inside for this one brothers ryan requested this pic can you please take a picture of me mr by aimee at 9 45 pm no comments monday march 4 2013 boys rooms after many months ryan s big boy room and drew s nursery are finally done here are some pictures drew s room is a mix of animals and hunting lodge decor and ryan s room is an explosion of thomas the train now that the fun rooms are done i guess i have to start on the rest of the house posted by aimee at 3 52 pm no comments drew s first day of school today is drew s first day of school it s crazy to think he s already 11 weeks old tomorrow and is starting school i m only working part of this week so that i can get a few things done and ease back into work tomorrow will be the first day i have to get both boys to school and get myself to work on time if that all happens on time it will be a miracle so far drew is doing really well and his teachers seemed really excited to have him in their class here are some pictures from his first day posted by aimee at 3 49 pm no comments february update what a fun month it s been drew has been sleeping more consistently 5 6 hours at a time and most recently 8 hours last night ryan has been potty training like a champ and we ve had fun celebrating the super bowl and valentine s day ryan s first tattoo ryan was sharing his toys with drew watching the super bowl touchdown happy valentine s day making chicken and dumplings with daddy two months old drew is already two months old here are some highlights of his second month he weighs 11 pounds 13 ounces and is 21 1 2 inches tall he s been sleeping very well he gets his last bottle for the night around 7 30 and goes anywhere from 5 7 hours before waking up for another bottle then he goes back down for another 3 4 hours he s eating about 4 ounces every 3 hours during the day he s still very gassy and i m beginning to wonder if he s dealing with some reflux issues too we ve got a question out to the pediatrician on that front he smiled for the first time on feb 24th i didn t get to see it but daddy did he s just now starting to really make eye contact and starting to study our faces he s a little behind in this area since he was five weeks early he s starting to make some new cooing noises which are very cute as for ryan he s had quite a few changes this month too he started a new daycare and has been doing very well he s starting to learn some of his new friends names and seems to really enjoy the new class he s also started the process of potty training after very little progress we switched to big boy underwear on president s day weekend and he s done pretty well after a couple of rough days with lots of accidents he finally had success that monday the last two weeks have been not bad on the 1 front with only an accident or two each day and pretty bad on the 2 front with all accidents this past weekend though i think it s finally starting to sink in yesterday was our first day with no accidents and i m hoping that s the start of a new trend he s so proud of himself and we re proud of him too can t believe our little boy is so grown up posted by aimee at 3 45 pm no comments monday february 4 2013 six weeks baby drew has been filling out quite a bit so i figured i d post a new picture he got circumcised this past week right at six weeks and at his appointment he weighed 10 pounds posted by aimee at 6 54 pm no comments friday february 1 2013 family pictures in mid january we had a photographer deb harper photography come to the house to get some newborn pictures of drew and some family pictures of the rest of us we got some great shots posted by aimee at 4 35 pm no comments january christmas my dad and his fiance kathy came down from new york the third weekend in january to celebrate christmas with us jacki steve jaden jeff jenn and simon all came over so we got to have another family christmas all together we were spoiled with delicious food way too many presents and wonderful family to spend time with a few days before everyone arrived we got our first snow of the season so we were able to have a somewhat white christmas ryan and daddy in the snow our new house in the snow opening presents from papa and kathy the boys were wearing matching
