safety services training updates safety services training updates this blog is for instructors who are affiliated with safety services ashi cpr training center in this space i as the training center director will post issues that are of importance to the instructors as information is added or as issues arise this blog will be updated monday june 9 2008 new features on www communitytrainingcenter com hello instructor i have done some upgrades added content to the instructor forum at www communitytrainingcenter com those being 1 i have created a free course for new instructors who want to start their own business this course requires that you register with the online training system it is called create your own business under the getting started section in the instructor forum instructor website that you have to log in for this course will help you to get the basics out of the way as far as researching your company name then to register or create the corporation legally with the state of florida it also help you to get your domain name and such registered and to open a paypal account which you need to have if you are going to process credit cards over the phone or if you are going to offer courses online 2 i have also added some other new materials to the instructor forum so there are some hidden pearls for you to hunt down and discover also i have had some requests to meet with me about the online training opportunities that we offer to you our instructors i am scheduling free meetings on saturday nights in the cities every other weekend that i am doing idc courses for if you are interested and want to know when where those locations are go to www ashicprtrainer com and check out the schedule on the left side all meetings are scheduled for 7pm if you contact me or teresa to rsvp we can give you the location this is something new so we are going to give it a try subject s are varied purpose is to answer questions and get acquainted with other instructors in the area that are in the training center family i will spend as much time as necessary to answer all questions and to spend as much time holding your hand to give you confidence as always my phoneline is open feel free to call me at 813 855 1225 steve woodin bls cpr instructor trainer posted by safety services training center at 1 32 pm no comments thursday may 1 2008 quality assurance on cpr training hello all i am generating this blog post due to a couple of issues that i have found recently on cpr rosters that i have been getting please allow me to address these issues below 1 we are selling way more books than we are getting roster for classes that means to me that not everyone is faxing us copies of their rosters after they get done with their classes it is a must you are required to send in a roster for every class within 30 days of completing a cpr training course 2 on the rosters that we are getting some of them have just the student name and nothing else these rosters are useless without contact information i cannot do the required quality assurance that ashi makes us do we have to contact a of people on the rosters and without contact information i cannot do that so please at a minimum get mailing address and phone number and i prefer an email address to send them an email evaluation 3 the final issue on rosters is that you must be using the new roster form how do i know if i am using the new rosters you ask easy if you have a roster that is asking for social security numbers that is the old roster the new rosters do not ask for ss and we have added a line for email addresses plus the new roster has our fax number on the top so if you need a new the new form then simply download it from the instructor forum which is where you got this blog if you have any questions about this or other issues please feel free to contact me at 813 855 1225 x711 have a great day posted by safety services training center at 9 02 am no comments saturday april 19 2008 new blog for instructors at www communitytrainingcenter com i just finished a friday night idc training and when reviewing the instructor forum it was mentioned that i should have a better blog that i could access and update for the instructors where comments could be posted by the instructors so here is that blog good thing that i am a night person with sleeping problems i will take the information from the old blog and post it here for historical reference as always if you have questions please contact me at 813 855 1225 x711 or by email at stephenwoodin gmail com have a great day posted by safety services training center at 4 29 am no comments home subscribe to posts atom blog archive 2008 3 june 1 new features on www communitytrainingcenter com may 1 april 1
