really flew by i can t believe my baby is almost 2 she is 22 months and weighs 24 pounds she is such a good girl and is such a blessing in our family here are some things about miss brooklyn she loves mickey mouse clubhouse and little einsteins she speaks very well her favorite food to ask for is tacos but i am not sure why she loves to dress up she loves anything to do with princesses especially cinderella and rapunzel she sleeps in a big girl bed she can count to 3 she knows some of her colors she enjoys cooking with mom or dad and loves to cook in her kitchen there are so many other things that i could write but i could go on forever she is such a funny girl the other day she was in trouble for ripping a page in her book on purpose and when corey got mad at her she started crying and then she stopped for a minute and said but daddy i cute ha ha ha it was so funny but i suppose she is smarter than we think sometimes anyway we are currently living in monterey ca and loving it it is so beautiful however if there was one thing i would change it would be the weather i don t love that it is only around 50 60 degrees all the time i miss the vegas heat crazy i know corey is doing so well in school and he is loving it we will be finished here in september then it s off to the east coast probably md or ga things with our little family are going so well we are so grateful and so months already our little lady is 9 months already you never believe how fast the time flies until you have your own child brooklyn is such a fun little girl she is so beautiful and has such a great personality that is really starting to shine she is really growing up and she thinks that she can do more than she really can corey and i feel so blessed to have her in our family she is so happy and so smart all around she is just amazing here are some things that brooklyn is doing and loving lately she started walking not a ton of steps at a time but she is getting more brave every day she says mom dad dog buh bye and hi loves bananas graham crackers cheerios and bread she can drink through a straw she loves music loves dolls and books loves people and staring at people she loves to laugh and more recently if you ask her if she is so sick she fake coughs it is hilarious in other news corey is leaving on march 8th for basic training in tx once he graduates we will be moving to monterey ca we are so excited to start this new adventure and we are so grateful that he got such a high score on his linguist test so he can do the job he wanted as for me and brooklyn while corey is gone we will be living with my mom we found renters for our townhouse and will have everything in storage by the end of feb i can t believe how fast march is coming also in april brooklyn and i will have some family in town and then plan to head to oregon to visit gary and stacie and attend the memorial golf tournament for corey s grandpa well i think that s about it posted by corey and jenessa at 3 53 pm 0 comments saturday october 30 2010 6 months i took brooklyn to the doctor wednesday for her 6 month check up she weighs 14 lbs 7 oz and she is 26 in long i can t even believe that it has already been 6 months since our beautiful little girl was born she has brought so much happiness into our lives and we can t even imagine our life without her she has been learning so much and trying so many new things here are a few things that brooklyn has been up to the army crawl eating solids sweet potatoes rice cereal applesauce squash bananas beans and very small amounts of white bread says dadada when playing and mama when she is crying she is into everything stands alone while holding onto the couch or coffee table can almost pull herself to a sitting position from lying on her back gets up on her hands and knees in other news corey went to meps for the air force this week and was sworn into the us air force we are excited anxious to find out more about what s next including his date for basic training what career he will be assigned and where we will be moving i am sure i will post more info as it comes so for now enjoy the pictures of b and we will post halloween pictures soon posted by corey and jenessa at 9 51 am 4 comments wednesday september 29 2010 5 months already little brooklyn turned 5 months on monday where has the time gone she is so fun we love her so much and are so glad that she was sent to our family lately her little personality is really coming out she is such a little diva here are some things that she is doing loving right now rolling she rolls all over she will start in one position and end up across the room sitting yelling playing with big kids talking laughing sophie the giraffe when daddy comes home darla my mom s kitten uncle tj dolls keys baths books giving hugs giving kisses some things she doesn t care for applesauce when cayden picks on tj when lucy tackles tj you get the picture high chair when we took brooklyn to the dr for her 4 month well child last month she was 11 lbs and 13 oz and she was 24 3 4 long we don t go again for a month but i think is starting to get a little chubbier here are some fun pictures of our little princess brooklyn s 4 month birthday she is such a happy girl here is a list of what she likes to do lately roll from her tummy to back roll from back to tummy be tickled watch ceiling fans stand suck on her fingers suck on her dad s fingers dance drink water out of a cup grab anything she can reach today we took her to her 4 month well child check up here are her stats height 24 3 4 in 75th percentile weight 11 lbs 13 oz 25th percentile head 42 cm 80th percentile here is a picture of b at 4 months also today was the first day we gave her rice cereal she loved it she caught on really fast and ate all of it everytime i would come close with the spoon she would open her mouth and lean forward she even fussed when it was gone here is a little video of b s first taste of rice cereal corey and i love making brooklyn laugh here is a little recording of her sweet little laugh never mind i don t know how in the heck to make it work in fact i don t even think the darn video worked i m over it though for now posted by corey and jenessa at 8 25 pm 1 comments tuesday july 27 2010 life lately ok so it has been forever and so much has happened since the last post first and most exciting corey has his polygraph on august 9th and that is the last step once he passes that he will get his official offer letter for the academy starting october 18th woo hoo we will miss him for the 5 months he will be gone but it will be totally worth it also my last day of work is friday yes i can t believe it also booklyn turned 3 months old today i can t believe that it has gone by so fast at her 2 month appointment she weighed 10 pounds and was 23 inches long we go to the doctor again next month so we will see how much she has grown since she is so much fun to be around and so far she has the cutest personality she laughs can almost roll over pulls herself up when she holds on to your hands sleeps in her own room that was tough for me recognizes mom s and dad s voices sleeps through the night and
