christmas and it s my favorite thing to create and i ve been selling my creations on many different venues ever since i truly love what i do scamper head supervisor of all things mommy makes i love to sit on mommy s crafting table on my special fluffy blanket in the center of the action to watch over and help mommy with everything she does nothing leaves our home without the kitten paw stamp of approval from me poofy quality control manager of everything mommy makes i m a little shy but i love curling up on mommy s soft fabric and keeping her company while she creates magical things i especially like to watch her sew that machine is really neat about cozy vintage christmas hi i m wendy i m a self taught artist from pa i ve been running my shop cozy vintage christmas for over a decade here in my home based shop i value quality over quantity i take my time and put lots of attention to detail into every single original piece of art i create along with imagination uniqueness and whimsy i don t have anyone working with me or for me i create all my handmade primitive dolls myself every stitch every detail from start to finish i don t use professional lighting backgrounds or camera tricks to photograph my art and the photos are never touched up my photos show my dolls with normal every day backgrounds and under normal every day home lighting i want you to see what they ll actually look like with your own warm and cozy primitive decor i use only high quality materials to create my art i make sure that my items are solid sturdy and well constructed i realize that my items aren t just a decoration for one season or one holiday i know they will be brought out year after year or on display every day of the year some will be given to loved ones and special friends as gifts or even handed down to children and grandchildren they become part of a family a tradition and a home so i make sure each one is very special i use only non toxic materials in the creation of my art and nothing that i use has a chemical odor chemicals bother me so i know they must bother others as well the only scent my dolls will have are the light pleasant heart warming smells of coffee tea cinnamon and vanilla i use hypoallergenic stuffing and my items are created in a completely smoke free and very clean environment of course every piece of art i create has to first receive scampers kitten paw print of approval before it enters my shop scamper is one of our cats and he loves to hang out on my work table to supervise and help with everything i do every piece of art is signed and dated by me then stamped with a little paw print to represent scamper i enjoy knowing that the items i create with my whole heart here in my home surrounded by the love of my family will be treasured by my customers as a part of their own homes and families a little bit about me i ve been married to my loving and supportive hubby for over 20 years i have a deep love for animals especially cats and we have several feline fur babies that light up my life i support several animal charities and rescues and i am personally involved in rescue efforts as well when i am not creating dolls i enjoy acrylic canvas painting quilting and baking i love all things vintage and old fashioned and the warm nostalgic feeling they bring to the heart i thank god for all my blessings and for the gift of
