trump s sixth grade english teacher august 29 2024 originally posted on facebook october 9 2016 i have been on the verge of tears all weekend it has come to a horrible cacophony in my heart and mind tonight when men laugh and brag about violent objectification toward women any man whether running for office or not it is a sad moment for men and women everywhere i feel helpless and angry and sad what can i do is there anything what can i say to my students how can i help those adorable beautiful little boys be strong enough not to engage in such violence against women and yes speaking like that is violence against women all women including me personally how can i show those strong intelligent girls that they are worth more than just their sex organs beyond that tonight i wish i were or had been donald s trump s sixth grade english teacher i wish i could have or could have had a talk to that small vulnerable beautiful adorable little boy back when he was becoming a man back when he was learning about the sexuality of himself and of women so here it is i want to do for him the things i often try to do for my students i want to give him a hug i want to tell him i love him no matter what i love him even when he does horrible things because all humans deserve love i want to tell young trump that he does not have to conquer anyone or anything i want him to know that life is not about acquisition of things of popularity of people of women i want to tell him that he can grow and change and he can create a new world rather than trying to move things back into the darkest parts of some false idealized past i also want to tell him what a complete sentence contains subject verb object the end as a very amazing english teacher i know often says yes it is me if you don t homeroom teacher this year i also teach english language arts for seventh and eighth grade i am so excited to meet you and learn more about you the first day of school is tuesday august 6 2024 i can t wait to meet you this email is a little bit about me not required reading just a few crystal bits for those who want to know i was recently able to move back to my hometown in the black hills of south dakota i love it here especially the cold weather i know that might not be something my kiddos in the desert can completely understand but hey that s me i love the outdoors and running water is my fave i love to row a boat in a body of water and i love pretty rocks i pick them up everywhere i go it is sort of my goal to make everything more beautiful we will get into that more in class i have a new window email like loading leave a comment from life from break up to break down january 16 2018 okay i had a huge upset in my life this past week january 6 8 2018 when my long term committed relationship ended it was the best relationship i have had up to this point in my life and the longest adult relationship i honestly felt like i might die as a result of the pain of this loss and the circumstances this past week but i haven t given up i have reached out to people who are nearby and can physically be here for me i held on tightly to the relationship init ially because i have worked so hard in it and for it and because i chose him so many times i have learned so much and part of the reason that i m the current awesome version of myself is because of that knowledge i was happy and still growing so i didn t want to let it go i think i may have even been doing some bargaining with the universe over what it may owe me or he may owe me or what i could do or give to keep this from coming to an end but i know the truth is that the universe doesn t owe me anything quite the contrary it is actively seeking to give me and create for me every good thing that i will allow myself to imagine and bravely work toward and although my significant other did not end things in a way that i feel was fair or wise for him or me he does not owe me anything for the love affection and comfort i gave him during our time together i gave it freely and unconditionally i worked very hard in our relationship not to put expectations in place or conditions to make any of it some sort of transaction or layaway plan for love and life so this painful past week has been me bringing all of this further into my awareness and i have been working up to beginning to let go of him of all of it i have cried i have lost sleep i have done the common broken hearted woman thing and wondered what i did wrong even what is wrong with me i ve gotten to a place where i feel like i have enough truth or enough of a story about the circumstances and causes that i can process this and move forward slowly now it s time to do the work i m not done being sad i know that and i might need your help from time to time to cheer me up to spend time with me to call me all of it this is me reaching out to all of you for help i might not know what help i may need at times so feel free to offer what you can
