life with gavin and izzy life with gavin and izzy tuesday february 5 2013 snow snow snow we were finally healthy enough to go play in the snow it was cold but they still had a fun time posted by unknown at 11 20 am no comments tuesday january 8 2013 christmas trip to cali our computer is back and so here are our pics finally from our trip to cali we started our trip by staying with our friends the brodericks who live in vegas here s your sneak peek amber i got to do a photo shoot for them and amber s brother we then headed over to my dad s in porterville and stayed there for christmas eve and christmas day the kids got to decorate the tree but really it was me and corey doing all the work lol gavin loved these new glasses from papi doesn t he look smart then gavin found some slippers and became slipper man the unstoppable super hero izzy of course had to join in and become bag girl we should have just given them these toys for christmas after christmas we headed down to monterey ca and on our way stopped at my grandparents house in madera we had a lovely visit with them and then headed down to our hotel this was our first vacation with the two kids so it was an adventure getting them to sleep at the hotel so they watched a movie together first we were staying at a hotel really close to the aquarium so it was really nice to get there early both kids loved everything about the aquarium the sea anemones were so neat bright and colorful the jelly fish were really cool too it was so dark the there that we didn t get a lot of great pics but it was so fun our penguin baby i think izzy s favorite part were the pigeons outside she was chasing them and so happy like she s never seen a bird before hilarious after getting some food and visiting milpitas where we used to live when i was a little girl we headed over to san jose to look at the christmas in the park sadly gavin puked in the car when we got there and he was so sad looking the rest of the day i also got tired of taking pics with my nice camera boy it gets heavy so these are done with my phone this one s for you mary but we had a great time looking at the lights and seeing all the displays we then headed back to porterville and just relaxed corey and i went on a date to see the hobbit which was awesome on our way back home we stopped in vegas again and got to see some of corey s family the kids did great in the car and even though we all came home with a cold all in all it was a great trip posted by unknown at 2 30 pm 1 comment monday october 8 2012 day 8 portsmouth new hampshire this day was really fun we stayed mostly in downtown portsmouth and did a lot of shopping i think we got most of our souvenirs from this store there stuff is amazing i already had one of their cookbooks and when i realized i could go to one of their stores i was so excited after all of our shopping and site seeing we went on a sea kayaking sunset tour while dad went bike riding he got some great pictures of us out on the kayak after our workout we went back to downtown portsmouth to ri ra which is an irish pub restaurant that s located in an old bank we ate dinner in the old vault it was pretty cool the rest of the trip was just traveling home getting our kids and realizing that we needed a vacation after our vacation we had a great time and hope that you all can go to these amazing places posted by unknown at 12 03 pm no comments day 7 bar harbor and national forest we first spent some time in bar harbor maine and then went to the acadia national forest the cool thing about bar harbor was the fog it was so creepy that you couldn t see across the harbor then poof an hour later this is what you could see crazy we ate at this great restaurant we had the best food on this trip i seriously don t think we have ever eaten so well then we went in to the forest and it was really neat because you could go up the mountains and see the whole harbor then down to a beach and play in the ocean then walk in the forest and be surrounded by trees we were there for about 5 hours and we only saw a third of it it was so huge we then stopped for dinner and ate outside our
