csi color stories inspiration january 2025 wednesday january 15 2025 january scrapbooking challenge mid month reveal deadline february 4 2025 well our first month of the year sure is flying by here we are mid month already we re excited to share inspiration from the design team for our second case file if you haven t had a chance to play with our first case file no worries both cases stay open through the 4th of the next month and beyond if you re inspired after our deadlines guest detective spots we ll be inviting some players whose work catches our eye to serve as guest detectives along the way we ll investigate the albums on the 4th of the month so if you re interested in serving as a guest detective make sure you have your layout in the album by the 4th but feel free to use past case files as inspiration any time and you never know if your work really wows us you might even be asked to join our talented design team case files we know you ve got lots of christmas pictures to scrap so we chose our first case file with that in mind but it also serves to celebrate the new year for our second challenge we re celebrating international creativity month with our case file as always you don t have to scrap the topics illustrated in the case files draw your own inspiration from the scene or you can use the traditional clues which can be found at the bottom of this blog post vaughn i have been scrapbooking on and off for 30 years i don t scrap chronologically and i don t feel the need to journal on all of my pages my albums are all jumbled up one layout may be of my granddaughter s 3rd birthday and the next layout may be from a recent vacation my husband and i took i think it makes looking through the albums more exciting this hobby brings me joy and excitement and i don t want to put a single ounce of pressure on myself to get it done i am also a huge advocate of there are no rules in scrapbooking it is so much more important that we are enjoying ourselves than it is that we follow someone else s idea of what scrapbooking is supposed to be i am so grateful to be chosen as this month s guest designer i hope you enjoy this layout and i look forward to seeing each of your layouts too xoxo brandy here s how brandi solved the second case i used the january prompt the last fictional book you read i included polka dots houses leaves and a tree an insect or animal a mollusk book arches circle things and a tab i really like having the testimony prompts they help me when i ve scrapped all my photos keely lowe hi friends i m keely lowe and i have been paper crafting for about 25 years when my youngest son was born i saw a scrapbooking kit on qvc ordered it and i ve been going strong ever since my week isn t complete unless i spend time in my craft room getting messy i also love to create home decor items and have ventured into some card making this year i love giving handmade gifts i live in central kentucky with my wonderful husband and i love scrapbooking my kiddos and my grandson hayes i m super excited to be the guest designer for the new year the csi challenges always inspire me to be my most creative you can see more of my paper favorite holiday images which were the stamps from woodware i also incorporated the color scheme and evidence including christmas themed items candy branches snowflakes stacked things and glitter my journaling was about christmas and i added journaling to one of my embellishments on the page supplies i used were the vicki boutin peppermint kisses collection woodware stamps winter collection and
