those archetypes manage to catch up with time while others fail and become really rather bad overall however konami constantly releases new archetypes to the game and when asked to do one of the newer entries who am i to refuse this brings us to the topic of this archetype analysis an archetype called ryu ge which got its first card in the second half of 2024 and is therefore still rather recent at the time of writing people online often refer to ryu ge as the pokemon archetype for no other reason than the monsters all having striking similarities with the looks and themes of certain legendary daily it can be difficult to find something worth your time however video games as a medium are certainly interesting because there are all sort of weird but interesting titles available that you investing quite some time into the mountain of words down below i have the last part of the mirage block ready the eponymous mirage with cards as old as the ones at hand it is really kinda difficult to find something that a budget savvy player can use since everything good is either incredibly expensive due to the limited amount of cards on the market or is completely unplayable due to the power screw doing its thing the latter one is particularly noticeable in mirage since tons of creatures are just incredibly weak when compared to stuff that comes out nowadays nevertheless i tried my best vanilla creature tokens in form of golems to build a small army that would be further improved with keywords by the supporting cast of creatures well how fitting that for today s deck from new phyrexia we take a look at the complete opposite in form of devouring skies a blue black deck with a major focus on evasion effects with a light theme of getting to sacrifice creatures for extra effects should they manage to deal damage to the opponent where artful destruction was all about board building devouring skies allows you to send out lone operatives to deal damage and get the job
