wonderful image of a dog i really wanted to bring him to life by chance and a little playing i did something i haven t done before in ps and i am really pleased with the result i used a digi paper i added the stamp to the paper as you would do with a rubber or clear stamp then shaded where needed and more lines a lot to him i used a plain ps brush to add the green under him and to the tennis ball well it was in the middle of wimbledon when i made him it took a long time to colour him but worth it to me dog anne fenton digital colouring dp used for dog hugware no longer available i have shown pixelscrapper tonic 19 july 2017 my first mixed media hi everyone i know you all are really clever with your stamping and mixed media painting etc me i m happy with my digital but being part of the male room dt this month called for oh no was my first reaction i like a challenge and this was a huge challenge for me but i didn t realise how much fun it would become for me i also looked mixed media up so i could use things i am comfortable with and have hanging around this is what i found question is mixed media art just limited to papers and cardboard or does it include fabrics and other mediums as well is there any limits to what you can and cannot use answer mixed media art includes all and anything you can think of my preference is for paper that made me happy on to my card not the usual paints and slosh mixed media is generally known for but i think i can call it mixed media it certainly was for me dies and stamps magazine freebies car wheel hubs wheels and vroom out of an old who died a last week a beautiful gentle soul who i loved a lot even though we saw her rarely and was 20 years older than me she had suffered with alzheimer disease for 6 years a tragedy for anyone but i feel more so of someone so lovely this image is exactly how i felt when i heard she had passed i saw the image here and chose it as my favourite card on morgan s artworld challenge here and had to choose it for this card image pierrot sprite aurora wings coloured digitally in ps dp s the lovely studio used to be pink petticoat dies tattered lace pearls from stash if the card looks a little wavy to see you enter too the bonus of doing that is you have me commenting on your post that would put anyone off lol anyhow here s my card cut shape is bird house birds cards i cut it out beautifully on the cameo then drew lines on the roof wrong move so had to cut it out again ok this time just the ink spread but i can live with that birthday bird paper garden products print and cut the bird on the cameo it was too big to go into the hole in front of the card so had to stick it on over the hole lesson measure properly happy birthday die tattered lace i m happy with the overall effect i love the texture effect of it all next time i won t leave it so late to do my dt card just a couple of hours to go phew and write a post too now i can think of lots of ways i could have done this card but time
