i gasped i started the day rather relaxed sitting in front of my computer and watching videos here and there until a friend invited me to play some valorant but i wanted to take a shower so i wouldn t have to stress about that and being on time to pick my friend up soo i took a shower we won our game i went to pick her up at 3pm we planned on driving a little earlier to make sure we get a somewhat decent parking spot since the venue the concert took place in was not very known for having parking spots at all so that would become very interesting one mcdonalds break later we found ourselves in bielefeld and i just followed the others to see where they re driving to and found a parking garage not too far away too and it only cost 3 for the whole time parking there wowi anyway we started walking towards the venue where a looong queue was waiting for us but we got through pretty easily actually since we had front of stage tickets we had some kind of advantage of getting a faster entry as we got it we bought 2 drinks each because we had to wait another 2 hours until the concert s started and didn t want to leave our spot we were around the 3rd or 4th row and had a great view so elif started playing and jesus christ am i old because i remember her from participating at a german singing casting show and making it to the finale i wonder if everyone remembers that or if they know her from her music career after that anyway i have to be honest she wasn t really my cup of tea she did great and her vocals are amazing but her lyrics don t really speak to me there was one song i liked tho but the studio version doesn t hit as much for me as the live performance did but she really is likable there was a song she forgot the lyrics to and was like oh i forgot the lyrics lalalala this has never happened before anyway heres the hook and kept singing the song lmao i really liked that what i did not like tho was that she was montez support act but didn t really set the tone with her last song which was an elevator tune with some calm revengeful text about knowing how her ex cheated on her that was weird half an hour later montez made his appearence on stage and set the tone himself the crowd wasn t as loud as i thought it would be since it was his hometown but maybe it was just my corner that wasn t as loud they were loud at talking to say the least whenever montez was talking or telling something on stage they kept talking and talking and ughh it was exhausting but montez show really made up for that he invited some surprise acts no one knew of for example there was a guy called benno great at rapping but not my type of music nico santos idk if he s international and which made me gasp another bielefeld city musician who got famous in germany casper he must ve started his career around the same time montez started his career but casper got really famous for a song about selfharm back then which i think skyrocketed his career in general but i am literally making things up in my head i dont know for sure lmao but i remember listening to his album xoxo back in 2012 i feel old now he must be feeling old too tho that must ve been the biggest surprise of the whole show i assume the crowd went feral after his announcement too still can t believe he was there the rest of the show was good too he had some sort of justin bieber coachella moment where he would get out his laptop and the screens would show an animation of him picking a folder named montez or something and next to it was a justin bieber 2026 coachella folder lmao that was fun great way of doing what justin did without looking like a copycat most of his songs i didn t know but it was very cute to see where he started and what he has achieved by now but i am honest the concert was so long i think it took about 2 hours and my feet and back were hurting at this point there was no space to move around too because it was crowded as hell but the concert ended after an encore and we started to slowly return to our cars in the end i think it took like 1½ hours to exit the parking garage and get on the street to finally drive back home we stopped at a burger king to get some food
