high school musical news with the occasional word on other disney stars and projects on july 18 2009 we reformatted our blog include all disney channel news we discontinued the blog on january 19 2011 wednesday january 19 2011 goodbye for now dear readers we have officially made the decision to cease posting on this website this wasn t an easy decision to come to because we have so many readers and we get a lot of emails so we know people come to our site for information on their favorite disney stars unfortunately we just don t have it in us to keep going we started this blog almost three years ago and it was solely a high school musical blog we like most of you were so pumped for the release of the third film and it was so fun to post about the movie and the stars that quickly fizzled after high school musical 3 senior year was released and there wasn t much to blog about that s when we made the choice to refocus the blog on all things disney channel these days however we re just not into disney channel while we still watch it from time to time we ve outgrown it the hits from our childhood like lizzie mcguire even stevens and that s so raven are long gone hannah montana has come to a close high school musical is basically over the only show that kept us going was wizards of waverly place and have you seen that show lately it s a mess we can t say we enjoy the new crop of disney shows like shake it up so we don t have much fun blogging about them while we remain committed to the music careers of many disney stars like miley cyrus selena gomez and ashley tisdale it just doesn t seem necessary to keep the blog going so thank you so so so so much for those who have read and enjoyed our blog we re glad we could have brought you the information you were looking for we for a role in new year s eve the sequel to the 2010 megahit valentine s day well he s officially signed on most of zac s scenes will also feature michelle pfeiffer who starred with zac in hairspray yeah not a bad co star he commented it s got a great cast here s more on the film it s not technically a sequel while it originally was proposed as a follow up to valentine s day the film will stand on its own however both films were written by katherine fugate with garry marshall directing ashton kutcher and jessica biel are the only actors announced to be returning for the film however since it s not a sequel they will be playing different characters other cast members include robert de niro lea michele hilary swank abigail breslin sofia vergara sarah jessica parker frankie muniz and sara
