enjoyed the most i m waiting for the book to come in at the library hiddenvioletsgrow answered hiii sorry this got a bit lost in my drafts i am a bit of a snob in the sense that if i like a book a lot i am not too quick to watch any adaptions but here s what i do know about the adaptions i ve seen enough of the 2002 adaption to know it s trash i truly despise that one though i must admit henry cavill as albert is good i haven t seen the 2024 mini series i m still debating watching but i haven t heard anything bad or good i just watched the 2024 french movie i have very mixed feelings if you haven t read the book i m not sure i d recommend watching that first i really enjoyed that they pulled a good amount of lines right out of the book and the cinematography and casting is wonderful and it s super fun to hear it all in french i did not like how predictably they changed a several characters stories and left out a lot more but it s still no where near as bad as the 2002 i haven t seen any others yet but i m probably going too i will certainly post about them here if i decide to watch them lol thank you for letting me ramble on i would say the 2024 tv series is probably the most accurate adaptation i ve seen thus far simply because it is 8 episodes instead of a movie so they were able to fit in a lot more of the plot and didn t have to do drastic changes like the movie did the biggest change is probably what they did with caderousse and some bigger changes they did with villefort s secret son subplot overall i thought they did a great job and even with some of the
