freebie hello to you all my share today uses some freebie indigo blu stamps from a craft magazine i have inked the background with faded jeans milled lavender and black soot the sentiment is from the facebook share to pinterest saturday 26 april 2014 sending some sunshine hello to you all my share today uses some new stamps i treated myself to they are julie nutting dolls made by prima this is one of the newer smaller stamps card size the larger ones are more for large tags this one is called sunshine i made the backing with fresco paints mainly yellows and greens and also used a couple of stencils the doll has been fussy cut and paper pieced the dress i need a bit of practice with the fussy cutting the sentiment comes in the set but i decided to cut this up to i hope you like it xxx i share to facebook share to pinterest friday 25 april 2014 weekly project a black and white delight hello to you all i thought i would just show you how to make a card with a simple aperture you will need owl tree silhouette stamp postcard stamp a6 black card blank white card 14 5cm x 10cm black card 14cm x 9 5cm oval die oval scallop die white ribbon clear embossing powder 1 stamp the owl silhouette onto some white card and clear emboss 2 using the black card cut out the oval as shown using the die 3 using a scrap of white card line up your dies as shown to cut a frame 4 now stick your frame to the right side of the black card and add some sticky foam pads to the back 5 now line up your image behind and stick this to the foam pads mat this to your white card wrap some white ribbon round and tie then stick this onto your blank card finish off by stamping your postcard stamp onto a scrap of card cut out and stick to your finished card posted by doreen at 08 00 44 comments email the boadicea set and the backing is floral swirl i have sort of followed a tim holtz tutorial for this i painted the tag with black acrylic let it dry and then clear embossed the swirl stamp when this had cooled down i then covered it all with pink acrylic and before this dries get a damp cloth and start wiping the pink paint off to reveal the image and some black backing i said sort of followed as i used acrylic paint not the paint dabber i hope you like this xxx i am entering this into indigo blu words are all you need pan pastel go grungy artistic stampers embossing and texture natalie and pinterest chocolate baroque s tomorrow is a new day hello to you all i am sharing another sample made with the patchwork landscape stamp sheet from chocolate baroque i started by stamping the tree with black versafine ink and clear embossing my background was made by punching a 2 inch circle to use as a mask for the moon and sponging with pan pastel i then coloured my tree with water colour pencils my backing card has been put through an embossing folder x i am entering this into artistic stamper embossing and texture fantastic tuesday anything goes going grey with scrap creations chilly my card today is for a new home i have made it quite shabby chic i managed to rescue some corrugated card and was determined to use it the image is from the home sweet home stamp set from on a wall yet i will have to kick some of hubby s paintings off a wall to accommodate my tags i am not kidding when i say every wall in our house is covered with tom s art the loft and shed is full of hello we have a new challenge over at little claire this month we would like to see lots of layers for my share i have used one of the fabulous day stamps i stamped the image with versamark onto craft card and then white embossed i then dry brushed some white fresco paint around the edges i have also done the same to the sentiment the backing card was put through an embossing folder and again i dry to pinterest thursday 10 april 2014 chocolate baroque s a spring garden hello to you all today i am sharing a card i have made using the fabulous patchwork landscape and springtime edges stamp sheets from chocolate baroque i created this card by stamping the main image and colouring with water colour pencils i then stamped the image onto some copy paper and cut out to make a mask then using faded jeans distress ink coloured the sky the snowdrops from the springtime edges were stamped across the bottom of the page and coloured in this was then matted onto some white and black card and finished
