squares of melon and baby carrots the donkeys including whitey were already being fed by what looked like a mother and her daughters they were happy to help feed the donkeys as we introduced them to buddy holly and whitey by buddy standards he was waiting patiently and not doing any trash talking he was a bit greedy and was more than ready to slurp any strawberries melon or carrots that were offered he even condescended to eat strawberries that had dropped to the ground i was very happy to see whitey still with the group although holly was looking quite pregnant i figured that since whitey as over a year old but still more attached to his mother than his father it might be a little while longer before he was sold since he was more advanced than i remember his brothers being at the same age and is almost as tall as his father i figure his days as being part of the family are numbered he will be missed he is such a sweet tempered colt compared to his two old brothers as that
