my comings and going of life my comings and going of life just a simple blog of my day to day activites and things going on in my world sunday april 25 2010 im blank i just got finished working up a resume for skip he has been at his place of employment since 1995 minus 8 months from an accident he is a saw mill worker and he runs all the machines on the mill except what the sawyer does plus heavy machinery it s all kind of dangerous some places on the mill are more dangerous than others he is sick of it prior to working saw mill work he was a coal miner from 1980 to 1989 he worked underground as a rock duster and g i l general inside laborer he got out of the mines because he lost his edge his fear or chlostrophobia of being underground got the best of him and so he went to work at the saw mill losing your edge is nothing to be ashmed about not everybody is cut out to be an underground coal miner but i guess he has done some soul searching and weighing his options out and realizing that he isnt going to advance where he is now has decided to apply for a mining job there is a new mines going in 8 miles away from where we live and the start pay is twice his wages that he gets now he told me that he is tired of not having any money and that he is a different man now than when he left the mines 21 years ago enough said i guess and i will support him 100 on what his decissions are it kinda scares me though what with the recent mining accident in southern wv where 29 miners lost their lives mining is way more dangerous than saw mill work i have to look at is like this one can slip and fall in the bathtub and break their neck just as easily as a coal miner could have a roof collapse on them hmmmm seems messed up huh lets hope for the best thats all we can do posted by exception to the rule at 8 03 pm 1 comment friday february 12 2010 appreciating the sunshine today ok if your not from usa east coast then you have missed out on all the news what with the hammering dual snow storms that we have recieved last week even our nations capitol was shut down becasue of the snow i living about 150 miles west of dc our area got pounded as well and always a little worse becasue of the higher altitude and mountians but today i had a cancellation and i am home got lots of things accomplished domestically so guess what that makes me a free to do what i want this weekend so being that it is federal income tax time and we are getting a big chunk back from uncle sam gonna go shopping for a new bedroom suit for gina she has an old suit that was given to her 11 years ago and it was almost worn out then we have been limping thru with it until the time was right and that time being now she also wants to paint her room some shade of orange and put up a new boarder lets see i am excited for her just because she is excited i think she needs new carpet as well will make it look totally different from the lite peach color that is in there i had painted the room when she was 5 months old but she isnt a baby anymore change is good and this sunshine that is coming thru my window is a welcome change from gray and white posted by exception to the rule at 10 05 am no comments wednesday february 10 2010 hard to be humble i m thinking green and not the way that you would think the type of green that i m thinking about is not about ways to save the planet from global warming my kind of green i m thinking about is green grass and green trees other than an ever green tree s it is winter time full force for us wv an s and we are sick of the white stuff yes thats right hit the toilet puking sick of winter and the cold and snow and cabin fever it has been snowing since the end of oct 09 but out of all bad comes good usually and it is for us looking really forward to our weeks beach vacation in june a much over due one cant friggin wait to go sun and fun and no snow hahaha after so many weeks of being stuck in the house or anybody elses house you run out of things to be creative to do with your hands and even the internet gets boring ya just want to see some green posted by exception to the rule at 3 41 pm no comments saturday october 10 2009 fall i absolutly love fall it s my favorite time of the year mainly becuase of the brillian colors and cooler temperatures just those 2 things keep me on my toes and bouncy until the leaves fall off the trees and the snow starts to fly i do not like winter and wish i could go away for 6 months then come back in the spring lol i guess if im wishing i may has well wish big huh im not use to blogger i started a profile here awhile back but left it alone but the notion sturck me today to start it back up just to see what happens i like to write sometimes and have lots and lots to say but then again sometimes i have nothing to write about lets see not too much else going on for today right now it is rainy outside and maybe a trip to twon afterwhile and pick up a few groceries it is 9 34a
