out just how i wanted i love it when that happens and here is my eye spy quilt nicole made one too but she finished hers a long time ago this is my first quilt it was pretty fun to make it s not the about my projects for awhile now so some of these are kinda old my father in law made this cute bunk bed for my niece for christmas so i made cute little mattresses out of foam and sewed covers for them then i made the little pillows and quilts as well as a cute little crocheted blanket it s on the top of course i forgot to take a picture of it so this is as good as it gets it was really fun to make so 3 years after his birth logan finally got a stocking i ve been messing around with this little crocheted hats i think i finally made one the right size this one was for emma i made another one for my other niece but again forgot to take a photo i made this blanket for my nephew it turned out so cute mostly because the yarn is awesome the pattern was pretty great too pretty quick it used a lot of yarn though this is the stuff i made for my sister in law s baby shower i made this little bag for my friend s little girl to replace the one i made her when she was a baby she is now 8 it was 2012 fall craftiness i made this table runner using my cricut i used freezer paper so i could iron it on and just used regular craft paint it was really tedious but i m happy with how it turned out i spy quilts it took a while to collect all the different fabrics and nicole came up with the design we were supposed to finish them at the same time but i got stuck on some parts because i am not a quilter and messed up a few rows and took a break while nicole just zipped through hers it s the perfect size for snuggling up on the couch or spreading out on the floor for a good game of i spy it my friend and i made this cute wreath for valentine s day the photos aren t great because i used my phone but you get the idea i can t remember where the tutorial for this wreath is but there are lots i think this might be one of the original ones that i found we couldn t find heart shaped styrofoam wreaths but i did find a glitter covered one at the dollar store so that is what we used i m really 2012 doll bed quilt for jane s 2nd birthday nana papa made her this adorable doll bed and quilt jane loves to play with her babies and now loves to put them to sleep too unfortunately she herself does not go down for a nap nearly as easily posted by nicole at 3 07 pm 3 comments tuesday january 24 2012 minky blankets i made a couple of baby blankets in the past month i found a little tutorial to make a minky blanket with ruffled binding i ended up mostly making it up my own way though i used my ruffler foot which took a long time to figure out so if anyone wants to try it and needs a tutorial i would be happy to show you what i learned to save you some time this first blanket is minky on one side and cotton on the other i used packaged binding to ruffle which i think saved me a lot of time the second blanket i made was minky on both sides and i think it turned out better thanks to my lovely cousin kristin for saving the day and mailing me some more binding from joann since i underestimated how much i would need posted by jamie at 11 30 pm 2 comments labels sewing crochet crazy i made this little sweater for my niece s 2nd birthday i decided on brown because i thought it would match more than one outfit i decided to make a button with a kit that i ve had for awhile it was remarkably easy i found the pattern on ravelry which is the best site by the way but it was in french luckily one of the other users had translated it and was kind enough to send it to me so if anyone wants to try this i have the pattern in english i wanted to make some flowers to add to the sweater to spice it up a bit so i found some different patterns find the pattern for this one here and the pattern for this flower can be found here it is also the pattern for the cute litte hat i
