wish it was my two human or otherwise unless maybe what happened after aziraphale opened the book and started writing what happened was his story letting himself and crowley just meet and live the kind of human life that always fascinated them that seems like a kind of a rewrite he might choose for comfort hence why it skips over several billion years and gets right to the good stuff that ll be my headcanon from now on i think what an ending i laughed i cried i was befuddled i have come to the conclusion that good omens the book is canon and the show is functionally fanfic and i am now taking it in that spirit in that spirit things i loved general aziraphale s bonkers wig present day crowley s lovely ridiculous curls muriel being a ray of sunshine aziraphale having no actual plan other than trying to talk the planet into being good via jesus still a better plan than armageddon at least crowley sleeping in the alley to protect the bookshop because he can t bear to stay in there before the way crowley kisses aziraphale s fingers as for the end i hoped they could use the book of life to reverse everything when that was destroyed i was shocked and then when they started writing a new book i hoped they d use that to restore everything i love the idea that whatever the powers that be destroy we still get to write what comes next admittedly i didn t know what they could do with heaven and hell but i didn t want them to actually meet god it s meant to be up to us i wanted them to save what they love using only their own good sense and good hearts and live happily in it but
