heddie s corner heddie s corner sunday august 21 2011 august challenge 2011 here is my entry for the august sketch challenge over at scraphappykat s blog i have had these photo s of david fly fishing and just didn t get around to getting them sorted until now have a happy day everyone posted by heddie at 6 47 pm 1 comment saturday june 4 2011 may challenge entry from scraphappy kat we went to watch thomas at his karate class in kensington the photo was perfect for the may challenge papers posted by heddie at 10 18 am 1 comment friday january 28 2011 where has the time gone i think too much has happened to catch up all in one go the main points we had a lovely christmas vicki robert david and kara were all home together for the first time in ages then vicki thomas went sailing around the whitsunday islands rj flew to japan sking kara went to mildura to visit friends david flew back to perth where he now lives we had a very quiet new year pottered in the garden had friends from queensland visit parked their van out in the paddock and stayed for 12 days many hours catching up laughing and learning how to play mahjong great fun and i now have my own set my brother in law made my sticks in beautiful redgum so very flash indeed mum was looking after my daughter s dog tripped and fell breaking her wrist many hours were spent in the hospital mum home with my sister arm in plaster and totally miserable go to pick up my brother he has tripped on the lead and sprained his wrist he had his arm strapped sprained he is now living with us no more dogs at williams street everyone is now home from holidays mums is still at lyn s her arm is much improved although she is still in plaster doug is back to his old self and will stay here with us until mum is well enough to care for him that is about all for now oh bell street is progressiong at a rapid pace i will post some new pics soon unfortunately i have not had time to do any scrapping but the christmas pics need some attention and i would love to get to a class with kathie over at scraphappykats posted by heddie at 9 12 am 1 comment labels aug jan wednesday august 4 2010 scraphappykats august sketch challenge august sketch challenge hello everyone as promised here is the august sketch challenge this month is using the film strip technique as you can see on the sketch there is a strip that looks like the old style photo negatives remember these my you can use this any way you like i have seen it with different photo s on it and it looks fantastic please email a photo of your completed sketch to scraphappykat yahoo com au by 31 august to be in the running for a great prize overseas entries are welcome please email me if you have any questions regarding the sketch sarah xoxox http scraphappykat blogspot com 2010 08 august sketch challenge html posted by heddie at 11 13 am no comments tuesday july 27 2010 june winner here is my lo for scraphappykat s june paper pack competition this photo is very special to me as it shows my dear aunt uncle aunt has since passed away i was lucky enough to be an equal winner many thanks to kathie and her dt team posted by heddie at 6 42 pm 2 comments catching up i have been busy catching up on a couple of lo s and the atc for july the lo of egypt is for the sketch challenge over at scraphappykats atc for july from scrappyhappykat s my spin on lexie s class from scraphappykats i really enjoyed this sketch challenge it brought back memories of our most amazing trip we were in cairo sitting in the shade of the great pyramids when this young woman waved madly at us you would not believe it it was a girl from euroa she had been living in london and had taken a short break in egypt with her fiance kelvin before returning home to australia posted by heddie at 5 54 pm 1 comment labels july atc wednesday june 9 2010 well under way the house renovation has moved along very quickly walls have been taken out moved and put back in sparky comes thursday the 10th been quite a buisness to get one i can tell you plumber is sorted the polished boards and carpet quotes are in another builder comes on sat to give his quote hopefully it will be at lock up stage within 6 weeks checking out kitchens on ebay just missed a ripper for 1 00 now isn t that ridiculous included sink dishwasher cooker and cook top etc all in a beautiful tasmanian oak buggar check out the photo s below to see our progress posted by heddie at 4 19 pm 1 comment labels reno story older posts home subscribe to comments atom blog archive 2011 3 august 1 august challenge 2011 june 1 january 1 2010 25 august 1 july 2 june 2 may 3 april 2 march 8 february 7 2009 3 december 1 november 2 visitors scraphappykat side bar about me heddie view my complete profile followers ethereal theme powered by blogger
