are thinking it s getting close to time to really start saving for adoption 2 we are going to start working on cleaning out our storage unit to gather stuff to start a yard sale to get rid of the unit saving money and start selling stuff to make money i think we may see about turning our application in around january but maybe not go active until closer to june we need to make sure that we and john are all ready for this next step i will also be making more blankets to sell too john got his 1st busted lip yesterday it was raining and he was running around and he fell and busted his lip poor guy he is doing much better now and never acted like it was an issue once we got him all fixed up posted by jeny 1 19 pm 1 comments tuesday may 10 2011 updates let s see we made it through and survived easter and the egg hunts and such around it my lovely brother and sil hosted our family easter dinner this year so that was nice as we didn t need to stress on it but i will also be glad to host it next year if that s what we all decide john now has 12 teeth 4 each on front top and bottom 3 molars and 1 canine we are getting there almost we originally were thinking that we may start the process for 2 around january of next year but now we are thinking maybe june 2012 we will be moving john into the guest room and changing his nursery into his sister s room and would rather him be in a toddler bed before we do the switch i m thinking 2 1 2 is about the time he might be ready to switch beds at least we have a bassinette to put the baby in when she first comes home in case we aren t ready for some reason or we can borrow a crib for a bit i m thinking if we start the process when he s 2 5 that most likely it ll be at least a year before we get matched and bring her home so he ll be about 3 1 2 you never know though and some miracle could happen and she comes to us quickly and if that happens then at least he ll be at least 2 1 2 and might adjust better than if he was 2 that s about it for now i ll try to post back when we have new fun pictures and adventures as it s now spring and moving into summer so we ll be out and about more posted by jeny 12 10 pm 0 comments thursday april 14 2011 i m horrible things have been crazy around here and i apologize for being a horrible blogger let s see we celebrated our 1 year gotcha day anniversary on feb 21st john s bm came out the 1st week in march and we had such an amazing time here are a few pictures at the airport picking her up we took john the other day to go see the easter bunny he did great here is a picture from last year and then this year to compare i will try to be better about blogging posted by jeny 12 26 pm 0 comments monday january 24 2011 updates john is now sleeping from 7 30 6 30 with a nap from 1 00 3 00 he is also running around the house kicking a ball at the same time i swear that he really is only 13 5 months old we also are weaning him from the bottle to a milk sippy he only gets 2 bottles a day so we are hoping it won t be that hard we have decided to go cold turkey yesterday was day 1 and we had no issues he did wake at 4 this morning and is now down for a nap hopefully it s just a fluke and has nothing to do with the weaning or him going back to his old schedule we ll just keep trecking along we have booked his bm s flights good thing we did as 3 days later 1 leg went up 5 and
