s a new addition to the pet cemetery last week we lost rajah brother to nishita and punima who died in 2o18 he s buried adjacent to them when dh was digging the grave he found a large skull of a dog with a fever and a raging case of cellulitis needless to say i was admitted into the hospital the monday before thanksgiving and stayed until the sunday after i did however order a turkey dinner on thursday and they served a special dessert since i came home i haven t heard from my caregiver so i called the office and spoke with her supervisor it turns out that she was clocking in and out all week that s tantamount to fraud don t know what ll happen to her i have had two caregivers since both i liked but the first one lasted only one day and the other hasn t had much experience i ll give the hospital since i got home from the last stay in january i we have a diligent routine for cleaning out my cath and my belly bag and my night bag we do regular flushes and bi weekly cath changes i have no idea what caused my cellulitis the last two times i went in but thank god it hasn t recurred though i have to admit i kind of miss my bouts of delirium that accompanied my sepses they were minus the stephen king and the ghoulish nature of all our pets some i miss more than others worf was a favorite of mine as was galadriel and purnima but i miss all of them really so here they are in the order of their demise gus ceasar augustus was our first cat who died dh brought him home from a woman he met when in grad school her cat had a litter and she had to get rid of them so he took one we had him put down at the vet and brought him home to be buried he died in mid purr he had cerebellar hypoplasia though he may have been misdiagnosed as his condition worsened as he grew up his bones hospital tv i was in there from 12 27 16 to 1 3 17 with i believe cellulitis and a bladder infection i have been in the hospital several times since then 5 19 to 5 22 with cellulitis i didn t have any cuts so it must have been a cat claw poke or a bug bite any break in the skin will do for those of us who are immuno compromised august brought me in hospital from 8 19 to 8 25 with the perfect trifecta cellulitis vaginal and bladder infections so how am i doing you might ask well 36 years with ms and this is my current condition from head to toe here goes nothing if you are newly diagnosed that ours was a military family family planning by war a different kind of rhythm method my dad was in the navy and my parents met at a uso dance they got married in 1938 they had jack in 1939 and bill in 1941 then came wwii and dad spent most of his time at sea wwii ended with a bang or two dad s ship was being overhauled in bremerton wa so i guess he had shore duty so then they had jim in 1946 and bob in 1948 then came the korean war and dad was off to sea again after the war ended my dad retired in 1954 and surprise they had me in 1955 my mom was peri menopausal at 42 hence the surprise but they got what they were waiting for a girl so there was a sixteen year gap between jack and me i have only a few memories of growing up with him i may write about them but probably not 5
