messages immediately new follower has a hh and hb blog with a description that pretty much says they re a fan commissions are open and minors dni new follower ask almost immediately if you re a fan of hh hb and if you like art said art looks like the following with similar backgrounds styles and watermarks edit the goal is to offer you an hh hb commission i can only assume the don t intend to make previously posted art or account formatting the accounts look very convincing you can get to the first post of these accounts very easily no longer hh hb centered but the art sent mostly involves the fandom they still ask if you want a commission pretty early on in the conversation the art no longer has watermarks and the quality has changed they have handwritten signatures i m still sure they are at least to some degree ai generated they do all use the same formatting when they post they have added quotes from the show as a description examples below i hate that new artists can t be trusted because of people like this but let s just be careful stay safe keep reading littlejowo they tend to be a bit aggressive and pushy if you tell them no btw i wasn t aware of the scam before the person in the screenshots messaged me but i caught on pretty quick watch out y all scam alerts this scam is ongoing a recent account running this scam being freyaartsworld raye14402 i think i got one of these scammers in my dms this morning i blocked them after the exchange below it was super weird and the only reason i engaged with them was out of confusion and to confirm my suspicion s i don t even use the yumeship tags and the post being referenced has 2 f os despite them only saying f o in the singular i was so confused i even showed these pics to a friend and she was also weirded out scam alerts i do indeed think that this is the same vein of scammers pretending to be fake artists just in a different fandom them saying i would love to bring you and your f o to life through artwork and even a short animation is a huge giveaway as they re known to say things like this and then show stolen artwork they claim is theirs with preview watermarks slapped all over it i also checked out their blog out of curiosity and not only do they have no proof that they are an a artist in any capacity the first post they had ever shared was about someone doing vector tracing and logo redraws if you used any tags related to art or commissions or even mentioned you were looking for a commission in a post they likely found your post via a search and dm d you that way i hope this helps misc ive got a couple of artists like these but they were legitimate though approaching someone while being like ooh i wanna be friends i wanna know more about you you re so cool just to ask you if you want a
