format than wordpress and has some great tools and resources that i really like many of the other disabled writers i follow also use it i ve had this site for more new blog platform 2 comments new blog platform baby got back june 25 2023 it was not too long ago where i posted a blog about how thankful i was for my body and all that it does for me i still feel that way for the most part but after battling some back issues this past week i am feeling decidedly less thankful for the last couple of more baby got back 2 comments baby got back anticipation june 8 2023 when you re living with a disability you often have to try to anticipate as much as you can especially obstacles you often have to try plan for the worst case scenario in case you end up stuck somewhere or without access to racing your head and heart are pounding you feel like your whole body is shaking your body temperature rapidly increases for most of my life i was told i worried too much so i just assumed i was a of any kind of mobility assistance aid for a long time i didn t think i needed them but more importantly because of my internalized ableism i didn t want to need them as much as i hate to admit it i
