the shakespeare clan the shakespeare clan jared chrissy emi and rigby oh yeah our dog elie belly too friday january 13 2012 happenings it has been a long time since i have made a post i thought i would update with a few pictures we baked a lot for the holidays rigby loved to help but got a little too helpful when he turned on the kitchenaid with a lot of flour in it christmas morning digging into the goodies rigby s 2nd birthday cake getting ready to blow out the candles i can t believe my little boy is already 2 posted by jared and chrissy at 10 54 am no comments sunday april 3 2011 crazy we had such a great time in daybreak on friday we played at the beach by the lake and on the playground the kids loved the sun and the sand then we woke up to this on sunday morning who would have thought this is how i found them when i walked in to watch general conference posted by jared and chrissy at 10 49 am 1 comment tuesday march 8 2011 ice skating we took emi ice skating for the first time ever she was a little shaky at first but got used to it pretty quickly spinning in circles sometimes she fell kaden jaren kennan posted by jared and chrissy at 7 17 am 1 comment tuesday march 1 2011 the big move we moved about a month ago and i am just barely getting around to blogging about it jared got a really good job in slc so we headed on up north we got a cash offer on our house in a matter of days after we found out about jared s new job it was truly a blessing jared started his job two weeks after we found out about it and we were able to close the deal on our house before we headed northward even though we took a big hit on it due to the housing market it is really nice not to worry about having it vacant or renting it out as of right now we are living in my sisters basement in west jordan bumming off of her and her nice husband for a little while i do miss my beautiful house mostly my kitchen which i loved and my amazing friends in st george but i am really excited about the new adventure we have started it is also really nice to be back near family and old friends oh wait did i mention i miss st george weather it is freezing here i wont miss the summers but it really has beautiful winters does your house look like this when you move rigby likes to help me clean up my messes doing dishes at our new place aka my sisters house i have been a bad picture taker lately i don t even have any fun ones of emi she is doing really well though the move was a little bit hard on her she misses people in st george when we first got here she would frequently tell me she wanted to go home it was kind of sad now she is ok with it and doing much better she says she likes it here and wants to stay forever she started a new preschool and is learning how to read she reads a lot of 3 letter words which is pretty neat for a 3 year old posted by jared and chrissy at 1 41 pm 6 comments monday january 3 2011 once a year it seems like one time a year we get enough snow in st george to build a snowman this was our one time it is kind of fun when it snows in st george all the kids in the neighborhood get really excited and go outside to play in the one inch of snow that falls when you drive around you see multiple snowmen from yard to yard because people know it is their one chance for the year to build one we are no exception here is our cute guy this year if he seems a little spotty it is because emi was having fun sticking rocks in him she did not think he just needed a row of buttons but buttons all over posted by jared and chrissy at 1 13 pm 2 comments wednesday december 29 2010 happy birthday rigby this was his number 1 cake he surprised me a little bit i thought he would dig right in but he was very careful about it this was his teddy bear cake he was holding a balloon it was kind of sad cutting him up because it took me so long to make it rigby had a great birthday thank you to all the family and friends who came to party with him i can t believe he is already 1 posted by jared and chrissy at 7 43 am 2 comments sunday october 31 2010 happy halloween i love halloween for many different reasons what is better than dressing up having people tell you how adorable you look and then having them hand you candy speaking from a kids point of view of course this year was especially fun because emi was so excited about it another reason i love it is because it kicks off the holiday season before you know it we will be eating turkey and pie and singing christmas carols if you can t tell what the kiddos are we have a little monkey and little red ridding hood she just does not have her hood on jared s brother and sister in law know how to throw a good party we played halloween bingo i won ate donuts off a string bobbed for apples and had great food i ended up holding emi s string for her so she could bite at it gracie was awesome just by herself this is how emi likes to bob for apples she would take them all out with her hands and put them back in again i opted out of bobbing for apples after round one was over and there were floaties in the water posted by jared and chrissy at 7 30 am 2 comments older believe how much she grows and changes daily rigby was born in 2009 and brings such a joy to our family jared finished school and is working full time he is a power broker and enjoys his job very much chrissy is staying home with the kiddos being a mom emi lynn rigby james things said by emi emi woke up and asked me where her daddy was i told her he was at work she said oh yeah daddy told me he was going to hold onto the balloon and float to work today she has recently started getting her dreams confused with reality i said to emi lets work on listening to mommy today emi said ok then paused i m going to be just a little bit naughty when we play peek a boo games we say emi where are you now emi will hide her face and say emi are you when jared calls my phone it rings a certain ring tone if emi hears it she says daddy over and over until i answer it when emi wakes up in the morning she always looks for her daddy when she can t find him she says daddy work in church someone was blessing
