the watkins the watkins 5 23 2012 lately sorry this is a picture overload post jeff surprised me with a new camera for mothers day so i ve been going crazy taking pictures making up for all the times i didn t have one this should probably be split up into 3 or 4 different posts but both kids are asleep right now and i m taking advantage of some uninterrupted computer time we are still living with my parents in saratoga springs waiting to hear from jeff s company where they want him to be for the next couple of years it s been a little frustrating waiting and wondering where we are going to end up i m hoping we can stay in utah for little while longer at least long enough to have the little baby either way we have really enjoyed being with my family not only do i enjoy having extra helping hands it s been fun having my mom and dad around to hang out with during the day i feel like my little boys have grown up so much in the last few months ben babbles and tries to hold on a conversation he is starting to throw little tantrums and throw himself on the floor because he s so little it makes me laugh but i know he s headed right for the terrific twos grant is right smack in the middle of toddler hood he picks up little phrases and sayings that he hears the one he frequently repeats is knock id ed off this is used when i have told him no or stop it was adorable at first but it s getting a little obnoxious baby 3 is about the size of a large mango and growing we got to see him yesterday during a routine ultrasound he s a lot more mellow than his brothers were in utero which makes me think he might be a laid back baby i m not getting my hopes up though he is on track to be a 7 pounder just like his brothers it s such a comfort seeing his little heart on the screen beating so perfectly and strong as excited as i am to meet our newest little addition we are thankful he still has a few more months of baking time left posted by amy no comments 3 28 2012 ben is 1 i m ashamed to admit this but i didn t take any pictures of ben s 3 little birthday parties so sorry this post doesn t have any pictures my mom did take a video of ben digging his chubby little hands into his chocolate cake but i don t have it loaded on my computer and probably won t get around to it for a while ben has been walking for a few months now and tries his darndest to keep up with grant i love watching them interact and play with each other i m so happy that they have each other as friends speaking of brothers grant and ben will be getting new little brother in september we just found out yesterday that 3 is a boy we are so thrilled and can t wait for our life of football messes and rough housing yay posted by amy 1 comment 10 31 2011 2 years halloween birthday decor mummy candles grant is two yay he is a funny funny little boy who keeps me entertained all day long he s got lots of energy and loves to go go go we had a few birthday get togethers and had lots of fun he loved opening his presents and blowing out the candle on the cake we had to light it a about five times because he loved blowing it out sooo much opening presents with uncle doug mormor and papa after party photo loves his toy woody from mormor and papa the boys with grandma some halloween decor i had to make two cakes for each party this was cake 2 dad grandma boys and uncle davis after party going to a ward halloween party ben finishing off grants grilled cheese sandwich it was such a fun week thanks to all the family for making it a memorable birthday for grant he loves his grandparents cousins aunts and uncles here is random picture of benny he is getting soo big he is only 1 lb lighter than grant crawling everywhere and standing up and walking with the help of furniture i can t believe i awesome it s been forever since i ve blogged and it makes me sad because i was able to keep up with recording all of grants milestones but i haven t kept up with ben it s on my to do list for next
