livin the dream skip to main skip to sidebar livin the dream monday may 28 2012 a new start we re back from the dead i know it s been a long time and i ve most likely lost a bunch of my followers but i thought i d try it again just a small update is that we recently moved to rochester ny and starting beginning of june andrew will be starting mba school at u of r we also added another little person to our fam finally our little princess to go with our crazy little monkey boy i ll have to post pictures on my next post which will be soon i think things are going to be a lot more crazy in these next two years but i can t wait to share our stories posted by jess at 1 51 pm 1 comment thursday september 22 2011 fall has come well i have been awful at updating our blog and there is so much to share and who wants to read and read and read a huge long post not me here s what s been happening in the short version deck and i went to idaho for about 5 weeks it was amazing and we saw mamma mia the traveling broadway went to the water park went to the fisher family reunion and deck got to meet all the family and spent a lot of quality time with family and friends went to an amazing bertasso family reunion in gatlinburg tn we stayed in a castle yes it was called a castle and it was huge but it was built in the 30 s maybe can t remember we celebrated holidays all week had fun with all the cousins and siblings saw joseph and the amazing technicolor coat some went ziplining went swimming and enjoyed our time with family came back to jersey where it was miserably hot but nice to see my friends my bestie heather came to visit us for just a few days she is also decker s girlfriend it was sooooo much fun having her here we went into the city and played it was lovely deck has decided to crawl and cruise around his eating is still an issue but he s gaining weight so that s all that matters he can say hi bye bye up dada mama baba he waves claps kisses on demand and is the craziest little boy he turns 11 months in 3 days ahh where did this year go 2 weeks ago my aunt and uncle came into town for 9 11 and we were able to meet up with them for dinner it s always so nice to have visitors here and so fun i got put into the relief society as 1st counselor yikes fall has hit jersey finally welp that s about it i don t have any pictures uploaded and i have lots to do today so i need to go pictures later xoxo posted by jess at 10 00 am 1 comment saturday august 13 2011 woo ewww man it has been a very long time since my last blog things have been crazy trying to keep up with a busy 9 5 month old went to idaho for about 5 weeks and it was glorious decker loved seeing grandma and grandpa and all the cousins aunts and uncles it was perfect weather and every day was fun filled then the next week we flew to tennessee gatlinburg to be exact and had andrew s family reunion ahh it was sooo fun we stayed in a castle with everyone it was so great we celebrated a holiday everyday and swam in the pool and had great dinners every night it was nice to see everyone since it had been about 3 years since we were all last together it was also decker s first time meeting just about all of them we all had a blast now that we re back home things have been wiggly hot and messy decker is mister crawler squirm worm movey groovy little bug woowza that makes for one busy mamma i love every second of it though he is at such a fun stage he s been eating like a champ and refuses to eat baby food he only wants human food of course mr demanding therefore it has been extremely messy in our house we go and see the gi dr in 2 weeks so hopefully we can see if we can start on dairy or soy other then that everything else is great andrew is still working hard and i am just living life to the fullest well trying anyway here is picture overload not sure if you noticed but decker happens to be an only child decker s first water park experience he hated it miss mia and decker at the zoo these two were inseparable melt my heart girls night out my first and probably last since living in jersey this was in idaho i love all these girls so much and miss them terribly rave baby the view from the castle in tn decker at 9 months grandpa babysitting aaahhhhhhh my good friend heather came to visit in jersey for a few days and we went into the city deck loved every minute of it deck loves comments monday june 6 2011 and away we go i m tired tonight what else is new i m leaving to boise early early thursday morning i am getting really nervous for this plane ride due to me being all alone with decker on this long plane ride i ordered some new books that hopefully will keep him occupied does anybody have any suggestions for me as to what to do if he is freaking out just a side note he doesn t eat solids quite yet so food defiantly won t keep him happy obviously i will have formula ready at the go but bah i m a little freaked out here s a small update on deck he is starting to teeth again and this time i can see them he is 7 1 2 months obssed with his binki can whine like a dog always wants mom or dad s attention can roll from back to stomach really well can roll from tummy to back but only in private has yet to do it for mom and dad but is always rolling over in his bed has started to eat baby food but will only eat pears loves to blow raspberries especially when he has food in his mouth so that it goes all over the person feeding him babbles all day long i love it bangs his binkin against the crib when he is ready to get out is so close to sitting up all by himself his hair is finally growing like crazy still the love of my life so there s a little update nothin new in our lives besides going to boise so that s all for now posted by jess at 8 31 pm 2 pm 1 comment wednesday may 4 2011 advice please every morning that is if it isn t raining decker and i take a walk in the park that is right around the corner from our house it s been a really nice part of our routine and decker seems to enjoy himself for those of you wondering about the stalker i haven t seen him since the stalker day plus i now have pepper spray so i ve been going on this walk so i can get some exercise and more energy oh and possibly lose some of this baby weight that i ve been holding on to for the last 6 months i ve been very consistant and so proud of myself because sometimes i ll go for a few walks i just am having a hard time with controlling what i eat and also even though i go on all these walks i should probably get my heart rate up more i feel a little to embarrassed to start running i hate running outside i am more of a treadmill person my question is is what gives you motivation to workout and eat right and any other tips that you have for me i need my body is obviously so different since having decker i feel like all my excess weight goes right to my stomach and booo i hate it posted by jess at 8 30 pm 2 comments sunday april 10 2011 baby love for the last two nights decker has had a runny nose and a little cough since he sleeps on his tummy he has a hard time sleeping just like any person with a cold andrew always take weekend duty which entails putting his binki back in and the night time feeding deck was having a really rough night on friday and i knew andrew was really tired so i was helping him out deck decided it was a nice time to get up at 2 and decided to talk and hang out in his crib until 4 little stinker finally he started crying and andrew asked if i would take him which i take him quite a bit due to andrew s deep sleeping and i don t mind for the most part since i was already awake from his cooing and awing in the crib i was a little perturbed but said i would i went and got the couch ready like old times and felt this was all too familiar as i got decker and he snuggled up close he finally feel asleep on my chest and i just sat there and loved on him and loved on him and loved on him all the annoyance i was feeling just disappeared and i thought to myself this is what moms do i love it and even though the no sleep is hard i am mom and i would make my bum numb every night just for my sweet baby posted
