family is outta town i walked out of my room and found these two comfy as can be halle is even watching the television as if it is totally normal having a massive hairy creature snuggled up next to wook at me mom audrey has been cracking me up so often lately i decided i better start documenting her silliness today i was on the computer reading the latest important news you know facebook and all i can hear is mom wook at me hey mom wook at me i turn around and found her like this all dressed up with a huge smile on her face her outfits change like 600 times a day and i love every one of them except when i am on my way out the door and i think she is dressed and ready to go only to find out that she has changed into something crazy and i have to get her ready all over again i made her step outside to show the lovely snow we have been getting all morning this is april weather for us boo the pose was her idea p s audrey s hair is never done because she takes apart anything i do faster than she changes her outfits stubborn but darling little 2 year old posted by jessica at 2 54 pm 5 comments friday april 1 2011 kaci is 7 we went swimming before the party kaci and audrey ready to go aaah they love each other kaci with so much to look forward to look at all the loot we came home and had yummy pizza we are always so hungry after swimming ryan enjoys his food with halle just chillin kaci with pizza sauce over her eyebrow amber and glenn waiting for this party to get started there was a movie on i think it was over the hedge and just happened to be on tv pretty sure i m interrupting jordyn watching to get a picture of her she s a good sport eli and max can t sit still movie or not rough housing is waaaaay too much fun the kids did cousin briggs hair don t ask who knows kaci and reese raided the dress up box before the party happy birthday sweet kaci we love nerds nice card from her cousin and best friend the girls posted by jessica at 1 29 pm no comments tuesday march 1 2011 halle s blessing halle was blessed february 5th 2011 by her father ryan she was sweet and beautiful in her white dress that she and jordyn have both now worn here she is just after church resting on our couch the picture came out beautiful thanks to her auntie kali after our sunday meetings the family came to our place for yummy food and games i love these gatherings i love that my family enjoys getting together to spend time just hanging out i love how this day reminds me how grateful i am for this sweet little thing and her three sisters and brother who love her so much rachel and haylen blair and halle robin rachel adam robin blair and kaye grandma pettijohn charlotte caitlin s baby grandpa pettijohn lanse blair and rachel with settlers glenn ryan and halle ada and haylen audrey fell asleep amongst all the chaos she was so sleepy posted by jessica at 1 20 pm 3 comments friday february 4 2011 halle halle kendall cox december 28th 2010 8 lbs 12 ounces 21 3 4 inches there is no greater joy than a blessing like halle in our lives she is a little doll who i wish i could freeze in time exactly the way she is today curled legs bum sticking out an amazing newborn scent a tight grip around my fingers and an incredible appetite to be close to her mommy i love this time of her life when halle was born she came with a bit more difficulty than previous births we went into the birth center at about 8 20 am and had her at 10 21pm she came out with her hand by her face and a cord wrapped around her neck and body jordyn said right after her birth that she was tangled jordyn wanted to be at her birth and sat patiently for the entire 14 hours for halle to make her apperance i think they will have a special bond it was a spiritual moment when she finally came and even jordyn couldn t hold back the tears of joy this new baby laying on her mom s tummy just moments after birth was such a beautiful sight it overwhelmed an 8 year old girl i am grateful jordyn was part of this wonderful event i don t think she will ever forget the things she felt that day halle s hair was dark and thick which ryan noticed right away he also noticed her size and said oh she is a big girl jess right after they handed her to me i looked at her and right away could tell that was true and yes she weighed in at a record for our family beating kaci by 3 ounces halle also came with a large head circumference big feet and long fingers i still can t get over how long her feet are i love to rub them and love the picture above halle s eyes seemed like they changed from newborn gray to blue almost immediately now at about a month old there is no mistake that she is going to have beautiful blue eyes and may be the color closest to her dads of all our
