jimmy natalie addie reed skip to main skip to sidebar sunday january 5 2014 reed is one can you believe this little dude is one already i sure can t this year has flown by reed is such a good kid he has been constantly sick this winter and despite that he is still a very happy boy he adores addie and loves to imitate whatever she is doing they make each other laugh so much he is a total mama s boy and gets upset if i dare leave a room without him i m hoping this phase passes before he goes to nursery we celebrated reed s birthday with some friends from the ward here we are with the cupcake all smiles jimmy me and reed of course addie had to help blow out the candle reed s not too sure about that unlike addie who destroyed her first birthday cake reed wasn t a big fan of the cake he took a few licks of the icing and then was much happier eating ice cream the party favors and cupcake tower he was a big fan of the monkey we got him from costco i did a little photo shoot with him the week after his birthday here are some of my favorites reed is our little snuggler he often comes up and rests his head on the couch your leg the cat and anything else that looks remotely comfortable growing up the other day she said to me you was a baby once and i was holding you it s like she thinks we switched places she has also said you was a baby and you were siting in my carseat and i was driving she really really wants to drive she likes to get on her little motorcycle pictured below and pretend to drive to the airport park or grocery store she recently said when i get older i get big when i get big i can drive i thought that was a pretty advanced chain of events for a two year old to come up with and it must have sunk in because two days ago i was telling her how a baby hat no family pictures taken for the first time ever my friend kate happened to be in town before we left kansas so we were able to get these great shots at cedar creek in olathe enjoy i love this one it s going up in reed s room addie snuck off at one point and was just sitting on this rock posing she is such a model my cute boys i love addie s pose in this one she looks so sweet reed really does like but he s a doctor now so that s all that matters jimmy graduated from kcumb on may 18 it was a fun week with a fancy dinner graduation and a party at the church we are so proud of all the hard work jimmy has put in over the last four years plus many other years of schooling here is our little family at the school jimmy and his parents addie kept sneaking in to pictures and smiling on cue jimmy with his grandma here s addie again the diploma is as big as addie dr and mrs mitts jimmy s sister johanna came all the way from hawaii to be there we loved having her in town and addie misses her so much another diploma shot jimmy s dad drove to and from alabama to pick up his mom we were so grateful that she could come also john kept addie occupied during the picture taking jimmy and his parents sans addie this time we had a great turnout at the party that night to celebrate jimmy s graduation we got some yummy costco cake which i m pretty sure jimmy s parents still have in their freezer a nice array of treats and gifts gretchen micah whitney addie and jess addie misses her buddies the sheffers i love that jamie dressed jess baby doll up like a boy since they are having a baby boy and
